I think your pic is the scariest thing in this tread
[QUOTE="XilePrincess"]Catching area or not, there's boats in there. what comes from boats zooming around? waves. a big enough wave could knock you clear out of there. I'd just rather not risk getting thrown down into the catching area at all.RK-MaraErm... those boats aren't in the pool. I presume you are looking at that last picture, correct? The pool is on top of that big building in the picture. I'm actually really confused now. I'd assume the pool and whatever other area are separated, but those are indeed boats of some sort, are they not? unless there's some big barrier between the pool and the other part that I can't see (which wouldn't be too hard to miss, it's at the furthest end of the picture) I'd think there would still be some wave effect carrying that far over, should a boat come relatively close to it.
That's pretty rockin'. I would swim in it just for the rush. That's probably one of the most original things I've seen in architecture. If it were up to me, I'd have safety precautions on the side of the pool and around the edges, but man, that view at night....

The pool is on top of the giant building on the left side of the picture. It is a long, narrow pool. The boats are in the giant lake area below.

That's good. Looks way too easy to fall off with how the water can move you around.Found this reading the article
"But swimming to the edge won't be quite as risky as it looks. While the water in the infinity pool seems to end in a sheer drop, it actually spills into a catchment area where it is pumped back into the main pool"
