So this premiered recently and I gotta say it looks a lot better than BvS or Man of Steel. Serious, but not so serious looking that it doesn't look fun. Who knows, maybe the DCCU really will have a decent future.
What do you guys think?

I kinda think it is kinda weak trailer. I have no motivation to see it and i dont really see a purpose in the trailer.

The lady says, be careful, they do not deserve you. Im guessing, she is talking bout Earthlings, Wonder Woman must be leaving. Then on next seen she has no father. Next scene her lady friends, are battling someone. Who, what, where, when, why, who knows.

Then we see Wonder Woman fighting, but again, who, what, where, when, why? He cant let her do this though, but, still dont know what shes doing. Too be continued. What?

Hollywood and these Comic companies need to calm down with all these shitty super hero movies, they are trying way too hard with them.

Nah. This looks pretty bland and sadly so does the Justice League trailer. What does look good though is Batman the killing joke out in theaters in a few days. That will get my money at least once. Live action DC movies have gotten terrible. Nolan and Snyder don't like comic books and flat out don't get it.

@n64dd: @mirgamer:

This and Ghostbuster reboot is why I haven't taken Hollywood series in the 16 years.

Granted, I'm not expert of the Wonder Woman franchise, but this chick looks why too scrawny to be a Wonder Woman.

Or am I missing something?

Also, why does every Super Hero movie has a love plot?

Super hero movies are getting milked too much. I want some good sci-fi movies. I sure am enjoying the shit out of Stranger Things.

The trailer looks really good, despite it looks like DC is borrowing some of the ideas from Captain American: The First Avenger WW2 setting and give Wonder Woman the WW1 treatment which btw looks good and the trailer reminds me of Battlefield 1. The only thing is my concern is, Wonder Woman is missing her main villains like Cheetora and Ares the God of War which has always been Wonder Woman's main villains and I do hope at least one of them makes it into this standalone Wonder Woman movie.

Wonder woman is too much of a comic heroine, it's too goofy to take seriously. Which is pretty obvious now when you watch it as a live action movie.

To be fair her initial story lines were set in WW2. During that time frame most comics addressed the current war. And while Captain America debuted a few months before WW......even before Captain America a character called the The Shied existed wearing the red, white, and blue. And there were a slew of characters long forgotten that came from that time period.

So I don't think WW is a copy of CA....simply a product of her time. Even Superman punched Hitler in a comic.

Oh, I see. That makes sense now and still, I'm liking what I'm seeing from the new standalone Wonder Woman movie.

Eh. I'm not very impressed by the trailer. Honestly I was expecting WW2 as the backdrop but WWI is also nice to have. I have no idea where the story will go from there though. We'll see. I like WW, especially reading the New 52 but DC live action movies have always been a mixed bag (unless you're Batman). As for her physical appearance, I don't care that much. She's an Amazonian whose father was Zeus (or Hades or Ares, I don't know). She's essentially a demigod.

Maybe Ares will have a role in this one and hopefully that's the case.

I don't think it even matters if they "get comic books" or not. Movies are a different beast and those Batman movies were fucking excellent by super hero movie standards.

Although I'm pretty much finished with superhero stuff, I'm still perched for the next season of Jessica Jones. The first season was so smart and intriguing.

As much as I liked Stranger Things, it was derivative as hell. I must have seen everything in that movie at least another dozen times before, and I was predicting several plot developments before they were revealed. One could easily say that the concept has been thoroughly "milked".

Stranger Things was good because of the way that the material was handled, not because it was some kind of original thing that hadn't been milked yet. In less-competent hands, the basic plot could have easily turned out far more forgettable.

In the same way, there's nothing inherently wrong with super hero movies either. People just need to focus on making the audience care about the characters so that the stuff that happens has weight, as opposed to just throwing a bunch of spectacle on screen and expecting audiences to care about flashy shit.

Better i dont' know, but it does look great. I do like that its not all dark. Although i did see so many good trailers this morning. Wonder Woman, and there is also the Aquaman one, which Wonder Woman is also part off, and it looks better then this one because Wayne is recruiting, flash is also involved. 2017 is going to rock for summer.

I won't, but the spamming of superhero movies shows a distinct lack of creativity in the movie industry. That has always been the case to a certain extent, but it seems like they're spamming them even harder these days.

.. It would be nice if they had actually chosen some one to play Wonder Woman that looked physically imposing.. I am getting sick of this double standard.. Here we are having all these characters on both sides, like Captain America, Batman, Superman, Thor, Aquaman be at more or less peak physical condition and physically imposing.. Hmm who should be choose for Wonder Woman? A character that is suppose to be incredibly strong and a born warrior. A actress with a runway model physique.
