Why do some guys find anime chicks more attractive than actual women?

there is 1 thing anime girls has, that I miss in real women over here...

the anime ones are still feminine... Most Real ones are NOT, seriously, not very "cute or feminine, with women going out and outdrinks the men every weekend, are above average in agressiveness and pretty much aims to get laid every weekend.

Must be noted that I live in Denmark, heck you might even be at risk at getting decked if you call them "feminine" sort of a remnent of the "women liberation of the 60-80's.

It really sucks tho, it is REALLY hard to fall in sove with someone who acts like a pig, and looks... well... trashed...

well either that or I have to find new hunting grounds.

Long story short... the only thing Ifind appealing in an anime girl, unlike the ones I usually meet, is that the anime ones tend to acknowlage that they are infact women.(as much as you can be when youre drawn :S)

Probably because they have something in common. Kind of like how when girls play video games guys are all over them.

Well anime chicks, or pretty much all kinds of hand-drawn chicks are drawn with feminine features that turn guys on. I'd be lying if I said I didn't find some hand-drawn ladies hot, though I always prefer the real thing, and prefer the ladies that you can actually have physical contact with.

If some guys do find the pseudo-hot chicks better than ladies in real-life, then that is their own problem to deal with.

They don't have that effect on me, I still think they're cute/hot/whatever, but I don't think drooling over an anime girl is any different than drooling over Jessica Alba, they're both just idealized versions of what males find appealing in a girl, and as far your chances with either one go, they're both equally fictional. :P

In the end I think my girlfriend (or any REAL, normal girl) is better than either simply because she's not a poster, she isn't just pretty, I can actually talk to her, hug her, laugh, have a great time, and (why not?) even fight with her. THAT'S a real girl.

It's not any more animate than a poster of Angelina Jolie, and as far as a relationship, or even sex goes, that's all the Angelina you'll ever get. :P

I wonder if the people still living in their parent's basements don't interact very well with women because they spend all their time on hentai and topics like this, i mean no offense. I don't find anime girls attractive, but i know people that do, and honestly, i don't know why, they don't have problems with socialising, they just seem attracted to them for no reason i can understand. I think it's just the type of woman they're attracted to, even if that woman doesn't exist. I am not living in my parents basement btw, and i have no problem socialising with anyone, i was just saying maybe that's the reason they don't have girlfriends, and i wasn't referring to anyone on this topic or website :).

Yeah, I just find that bizarre. But to each his own, I guess...

When I was deployed my roommate was a HUGE anime fan. He had posters,dvds,mangas,etc.. of anime chicks. It was actually kind of creepy. I dont know why some guys are that attracted to anime chicks. I think it's kind of sad and stupid.
