Which present users you dont want leaving GS??

To be honest I don't care much about who is behind the statements, I'm mainly ready the posts themselves without looking much at who wrote them. But the two that came to my mind are Charizard1605 and zassimick

So many have left Gamespot that i have gotten to a point where it does not really matter anymore.

I do hope tho that Gamespot sees the decreasing traffic and get their shit together and start to work on making the forum a better place.

I don't want lrdfancypants to leave. That guy is witty, charming and I hear good looking.

As long as Charizard1605 doesn't leave in SW, we are all gonna be fine.

This is what happens when GS Staff had that nasty attitude by changing a lot of stuff around here and this is the results we got. GS had lost like over 1,000 members, including few moderators left because of there actions. I really don't wanna see GS go down as the best gaming site but even as it is now, I hardly see any changes around here, even DigitalDame left this place to die :(

As for me, I said this many times, GS is the only gaming place I have left so it's obviously I'm never gonna leave, so there's nothing to worry about. (Unless I get Banned!!!)

I'd rather see no one leave. OT is slow enough....and you guys are all decent users so I'll keep you all. :)

After the redesign it has just gotten to be shit. So many people left because of the new design.

Tho it´s nice to see them finally fixing the comment box, so it's not white even in night mode.

Ah. Layout and functionality? It's getting better again.

The site is actually pretty fast now. But I don't want them to know that. It all sucks!

Still miss the old design.

Do you remember the design from before 2007? I remember stumbling onto the website and feeling like I'd just entered a spaceship. I miss those cluttered website designs.

That design was here when I signed up. Damn we have come far since those days. Still a few things missing, but the site is much faster now.

Without Indzman there is very little point to life.

This place had a good run, but it's gone too far to come back. I say bring on the marshmallows and let it burn!

Yeah, pretty much this. Still bit annoyed that GS thought it was a good idea to separate politics from off-topic discussion....

It's busier over there than here.........I said it would hurt OT but some non regular users whined so here we are.

There's always good people in these forums... Definitely peaks and valleys, but life changes and so do our forums.

I remember coming to gamespot in the late 90s to get cheat codes. It was a dial-up connection so I had to act fast so as not to put a noticibly high call on the phone bill!!

When I got broadband (at last) in 2011 I decided to create an account. It's quite dissappointing to see that gamespot has shot itself in the foot trying to cater to the wider, younger audience, who just don't have the same kind of respect for gaming that we had years ago.

At least everyone in this thread so far.

There's not much to entice new users. I used to enjoy the live shows and all the decent presenters have left.

I want everyone to leave except you and me indz. You and me indz, that's all I need.

I liked that design, but no... the one before that one. Much less clean. Very retro.

I don't care who goes and stays. People have lives, and interests wax and wane. This is just Gamespot's forums.

In all these years people have called Gamespot's time of death, there's still plenty of us kicking around that it doesn't seem so bad.

I have to agree with that. I do my best to resist the rose-tinted shades, and I do enjoy the current state of things. Things might of been a bit more positive back in the day, but I am actually more active now I think.

But i mean the one we had before this new GiantBomb design.

We had so many active users then and the forum was fast and easy to use.

Ya not a fan of that design.

The one we got after and up until they bought Giantbomb and took their design was great, good old Gamespot with On the spot and all the good old staff.

It wasn't a "good" design but it was busy. Felt full of content and features. Contrasted with the current design that is completely empty.

I'm relatively new to this all, I used to be on a gaming forum when I was younger (28 tomorrow, man I'm getting old) but can't remember where it was. Now I look for things to pass the time at my slow job. It's amusing watching all the butthurt but good to see some in depth genuine discussions too.

Yup, we had so many awesome debates

But most of those users have gone and Games Discussion went from a busy place to a spambots heaven.
