I only enjoyed Wedding Singer, The Longest Yard. Tried watching few more, for life of me i gave up after first 15 minutes ( Grown Ups 2 last comes to my mind ). I'm not saying he's a bad actor, he should make more better comedy movies as Ben Stiller or Owen Wilson lol.

Seems Adam Sandler is popular amongst audience as he is regularly making same ol crappy movies one after another, my question is who enjoy his movies ? 12 year olds or everyone ???

A lot of people, unfortunately. I've even heard a few people refer to him as a comedian. Not sure how they got so confused.

He might just have an easy name to remember.

Some of his love movies are ok. They're not terrible but they aren't the best either. Just something entertaining to watch without much thought.

His movies used to be fairly easy to watch as long (as you could get over some of the irritating voices) but his latest ones have been pretty poor. Maybe they are guilty pleasures for people???

Aside from naked gun and space balls it's difficult to think of any proper laugh out loud American movies.

In recent years Borat and Alan Partridge are about the only funny movies that come to mind, for me anyway.

I enjoy his movies. They may not be great or excellent but I generally find him funny and his movies fun to watch.

Aren't they both British?

Happy Gillmore and Billy Madison are the only good sandler movies in my book.

Maybe Big Daddy but i can't remember much from that movie.

All i know is that all his current movies have a taste from Billy and Happy and it's all the bad tastes.

When I was a kid everyone I knew seemed to find him funny. I however thought it was the worst kind of comedic humor I'd ever seen. Not one of his movies made me laugh or even feel like I was enjoying myself not a single damn one so I'm with you. I honestly don't get who can like those films. They are horrible.

When it comes to his new movies, the only one I found remotely enjoyable was Grown Ups. Never bothered with Grown Ups 2 or Pixels and whatever else he did. I did like Click and the movie he did where he pretends to be married to Jennifer Aniston.

I enjoy most of Adam Sandler's movies, and even his Happy Madison films. There are a few I can't stand, though, such as Mr. Deeds and Strange Wilderness. As an aside, I'm getting a little tired of all the cynicism towards him lately. I get it that you may not like his films, but talking shit about his audience is really getting fucking tiresome.

I see a lot of people saying the older stuff is better. I personally agree, but I also wonder if it's a question of we have aged out of the very narrowly immature demographic that they appeal to.

One or 2 movies where good but cant remember what they called so cant be that good. When you see him play stupid for first time it was good and funny but now its old and just rubbish. Cant believe he is one of the top paid actors too.

Well, you should bring that up on the Ask the Mod Board.

If a comment violates the TOS it should be deleted or be left alone.

he has few good ones; 50 first dates, blended, click, anger management.

Just ignore the bad ones (watch the trailers first before deciding on wasting ur money / time)

Airplane and Blazing Saddles would be on the list as well.

Sandler isn't hungry anymore and knows anything he makes is a guaranteed payday unlike 20+ years ago when he had to make things worthy of a laugh in order to get paid. He's been flat for over ten years and it seems as if everything he stars in is junk.

I like some of them. I even liked Grown ups, which many people didn't, however the second one is in my opinion absolutely horrible. The humor is so forced I cringe instead of laugh at it.
