Currently I'm reading Under the Dome by Stephen King I'm about 100 pages from the end and should easily finish up this evening when I decide to continue. Long book though. Almost 1100 pages. I tend to take my time with books that I read for fun give the characters their own voice and picture the action like a movie rather than just read. Been reading it about a week I guess. Good book, he does a good job keeping all the different story lines going at once while keeping plot holes unnoticed.

Lol so it goes from reading a book yesterday, to reading a book within 5 years? Hopefully most people have at least read a small book in the last 5 years.

Ahh, I read that in High School. Quite enjoyed it to be fair. Its not a fantastic book, but its a little above average. Especially when English coursework makes you really delve past the words to find a higher meaning to it.

Oh, cool, I've always wanted to read a Halo book but haven't gotten around to it. DOes it follow the Master Chief or is it like ODST?

It's a big compilation of all these Halo short stories about different characters in the Halo universe at different times and places. One is about Master Chief fighting his way through New Mombassa to Palace Hotel, one is about Cortana being tortured by the Gravemind, another is about an ODST aboard a captured ship, one is about an Elite returning to a world he previously glassed after the Human-Covenant War, and many more. If you're looking for books exclusively about Master Chief, The Fall of Reach, The Flood, and First Strike all follow his adventures before, during, and after the events of Halo: Combat Evolved, respectively.

[QUOTE="alphamale1989"]Last 3 books: The Kite Runner The Hunger Games 1984

How is the Hunger Games? I've got it on my shelf waiting for me but I don't know when I'll get to it. :P I finished Pride and Prejudice Saturday (finally! that took me awhile!). Between today and yesterday I've finished half of Suzan-Lori Parks's novel Getting Mother's Body. It's pretty good. :P I'm also about 2/3 of the way through Middlesex by Jeffrey Euginides, but it's on the backburner due to school reading. :(

I'm often reading but I'm A.D.D. with my reading. Thus, it's normal for me to go through many books at once. Also, I tend to take my time while reading so that I can fully digest the content. For example, I was recently reading a theology book that I'd literally spend about 10 minutes per page because I'd look up all the Bible passages mentioned in the book so that I could form my own opinion. I own somewhere over 125 books, most dealing with theology in some manner. It's also normal for me to go to library to read Bible commentaries about various passages of Scripture. Even though I'm often reading and studying for fun, the last book that I actually finished was back in December. However, it's been a few years since I've read an actual novel.

I read 31 books last year. I was averaging about four a month until I took a break from reading in August to play more games. I need to get back to it. So far, I haven't finished a book this year, but I'm currently working through Max Brook's Zombie Survival Guide.

Did it end with him having sex with someone? I swear, every Dan Brown book ends in some funny erotic way..
