Some time before I got here. Everything good on the internet died before I ever found it.

I've been here since 2001, and for me it was during 2003. It seems that once they changed the forum system and created unions that the website itselfwent downhill drastically.

It is not as controversial as it used to be... lost a lot of its spark...

People around here always likes to think the best times have passed. human nature i guess. if this was 1999, they would be saying 1997 rocked and it will never rock as hard.

Well I've only really been coming here since 2003 and registered since '04, and I'd say it was best from the time I registered (end of '04) until about the end of '05. But it was probably even better before I ever found it in '03.

I don't know, maybe it's just me, but it's annoying when people think Gamespot is not as good as it used to be. I see nothing wrong with it now.

Hmmmm..............

Gamespot's golden age was when you can start a topic in systemwars that went something like:

"LAWL MARIO SUNSHINE FLOPPPEEDD SHEEEPP GOT OOOWWNNNEED!!!

TSHBO!!!!!!!"

Just basically you could of said and done ANYTHING and mods didn't get mad at you for it. I guess all good things come to an end.

Those were good times = )
