So whats your favourite classic cartoon??

looking back...I'll say looney Toons...you just don't see childrens cartoon characters smoking cigars and hunting rabbits with a shotgun anymore...what's up with that?...
I also used to like tom and jerry...
I was born and raised on Looney Tunes, same thing with Tom and Jerry. I've seen them a millon times, yet they still make me laugh.
ABC Television took a huge gamble with The Flintstones.
It was the first prime-time animated sitcom aimed at adults.
I feel like the Jetsons would be an approriate addition to your list since it's a 60s cartoon. That's what I voted for. For me it's Jetsons >>> Flintsones > Looney Tunes >>>>>>>> Tom and Jerry.
The only Looney Tunes I liked where the ones with the rooster who repeats himself (I say, well I say), Daffy Duck because he was always about getting money and hustling people, and the ones that were pretty much just a voice over and only had people and usually threw in something racially insensitive like "Injuns" or sambo. Those ones were kinda rare though. Oh, the dancing frog was always classic too, but he was super rare as well.
Well from the list I would say Loony Toons, lol they are a colourful bunch of characters :P I always had a good laugh watching the show. Flintstones is a close 2nd, hmm you know what I'm gonna watch it again :D
Looney toons is great! But you always have to be cheering for bugs bunny/ tweety / road runner, because everyone else gets owned in that show. It's kinda annoying actually. After watching that show for a while I just really want to see a piano fall on Bugs Bunny. >:)Apocalypse97There are a few where he gets what's coming to him.
It's kinda weird that you put The Flinstones with cartoons like Looney Tunes, Mickey Mouse and Tom and Jerry. The Flinstones was not even in the same era as those ones. But anyways, I'd have to go with good ol' Mickey and Looney Tunes.Nerd_ManNot really. All of them debuted during different times, but they were on TV with new content all throughout the 60s and for the bulk of the 60s they were all on simultaneously.
The only out of place stuff is people listing 80s and 90s cartoons, when it's clear the thread is about cartoons running during the 60s and earlier (mostly foxused on the 60s though).
