If it's savory then eggs with sausages or some other cured meat variety. But since I cut back on my cured meat consumption, that breakfast happens every blue moon. Also, If I were to have it my way, I wouldn't mind instant noodles to jolt me into sobriety early in the morning.

As for sweets, cereals, cookies with milk, and peanut butter with jelly -- but preferably with banana when available top the list.

Fruits. Great for when I'm in a hurry. Grab em and go. Coffee when I need waking up.

When I can eat breakfast relaxed (mostly weekends)? Biscuit n gravy, oatmeal, more fruits.

When we're on the road and vacationing? Steak n eggs from the hotel restaurant. My metabolism seems to go up during road trips.

Oh yes, fruit is great for breakfast, dinner, and as a snack. Too bad I can't afford that.

Tell me about it. We live in the desert. Almost all fruits have to be trucked in.

We also have prickly pear cactus which bear fruit. But, it takes some work before I can eat them.

You can't afford Fruits? Or you mean Exotic Imported Fruits? those can be expensive. Daily fruits as Banana, Oranges, Apples should not be very expensive ... imo.

You're right, we're talking pennies almost for a single piece of fruit. I think a banana is like 11 cents?

Dunno in penny value. But from where i come, daily common fruits is cheap ( Banana for example ) and even a average earning family can afford them daily heh.

Not a huge breakfast fan. Grease fried in egg grease with a glass of bacon grease first thing in the morning is not my style.

A bowl of cereal or a muffin/pastry/doughnut is what I like.

Edit: Oh, and waffles/pancakes on occasion.

Eggs (scrambled > sunnyside up > omelettes), bacon, canadian bacon, toast, pancakes, hashbrowns, tea, hot chocolate, coffee, orange juice, waffles, pita bread (to eat with the eggs and bacon).

Breakfast food is the best food. My ideal set up would be bacon and the bacon grease used as a nonstick for the scrambled eggs. Stir constantly while cooking and add some butter and viola! Fluffy, buttery eggs with bacon. Then you get some pita bread and make an egg and bacon sandwich and enjoy.

Paratha is popular in this whole region lel. Gamerno6666 might deny it but I know he loves Paratha deep down.

Pickles and curd is usually where it's at. Though, sometimes, when I'm feeling adventurous, I roll up nutella in the paratha and boom!

I love it all - too much. If I could eat it I'd have eggs over hashbrowns, scrambled eggs on the side, toast and jam, pancakes, english muffins, french toast, and an omelette all in one meal.

Vegetables: Kale, lettuce, spinach

Occasional Spice: Jalapeno peppers

Those are blended together with herbs and other nutritional substances such as tumeric powder and mustard seed to make a smoothie.

It is a healthy, energizing complement to my morning coffee.

The solid food I eat for breakfast is oatmeal.

Ah those, I thought we're the only people who go to the trouble of eating them. Some of my fondest childhood memories involve roaming the countryside with my cousins in search for ripe ones growing in the wild.

We import most if not all fruits. The Israeli blockade suffocated the agricultural sector, and bulldozering agricultural land at the borders didn't help either. We're also forced to import most goods from Israel, as it controls the trading ports. Israel's high standard of living makes its produce quite expensive even for the middle- to high middle-class Gazan who's further economically stricken by the blockade.

It's not that I don't eat fruits, but I can't afford having them as a staple.

All of them.

But my mom makes this green chile egg puff thing (it's like a dense souffle); eggs with cottage cheese mixed in, green chilis (the mild canned/jarred ones), some leavening agent, and a few other things. Very good.

Waffles over pancakes.

But blintzes are best.

Cheerios/Shredded Wheat combo over 100% grass-fed organic cows milk. Ground flaxseed sprinkled on top. Followed by strawberry Stoneyfield lowfat yogurt to wash down my vitamin D gelcap.

With Matcha Green Tea from Asia.

Eating a lot more healthy since beating Cancer.

Occasionally I'll eat out and get an omelet and stack of pancakes or Belgian waffle. Everything in moderation.
