I'd have to say sometimes being the rebound guy could be worse... I've been the rebound twice. First time nothing even happened, a girl I liked for a long time broke up with her boyfriend and she made a move on me and invited me to a party to chill with her, she was only toying with me since I never heard from her about that party and she never contacted me or returned my message.

2nd time was alot worse, we hooked up for a month or so and she left me for one of my friends. Wasn't fun :|

Ah, that really sucks, sorry dude. There isn't much worse than being friend/little bro zoned, it's really difficult to carry on a freindship when you have such strong feelings for the other person but you know that she won't see you the same way. Same thing happened with me with the same girl in the OP. We were suppose to hang out (because she was leaving for Indonesia for a couple weeks), but then she said she put hair dye in her hair and said it would take 3 hours, so we moved the movie date to 7. I walked to the skytrain at 6 calling and texting her but she never replied.....until 2 days later. Apparently she didn't get my texts or calls.....wtf

I love the friend zone it is a great place the only problem is sometimes the girl wants to move me out of friend zone. I have never been stood up before, but I did go to meet a girl without telling her what I look like only to see what she looked like since my friend set it up. I saw her and decided to leave; yeah I am shallow heh. Its also fun to be in the friend zone and then tell the girl you like her even if you don't the reactions are pretty hilarious and the awkward moments are great fun.

I think most guys have been on your side and yea it sucks but I found that just getting over it was the best way to go and move on to someone else, when they say "there are plenty of other fish in the sea" they are right, its just hard to see it when you get tunnel vision on one girl.

I have actually found myself on the other side recently and its actually worse. It has made me constantly on edge about what is going on around her and I feel its difficult to be around her when she has been drinking. I know nothing will ever happen between us but im not sure gets this. There is no way to avoid her so im going to ty to just get with another girl but I just hope she has the understanding to back off a little when I do.
