Fob is fresh of the boat meaning im a immigrant. thats just how it happens in my culture you have to realize some cultures wouldn't accept that and the kid would already knoe about it. He would never tell anyone that he was gay but if he did he would knoe what would happen to him. In our culture it is important how the family name is shown and represented . It is also important that the family name moves on through future generations and that is the men's responsibility as the women change their last naames when they get married

I understand that, but how is beating your own child and failing to provide care for him helping out your family name? Thats pretty pathetic, and I would think much less highly of you and your family if you did that, as opposed to just accepting him. And besides, its not his fault hes gay its probably yours. If its genetic, then its your fault because afterall theyre your genes, and if his life experiences turned him that way, then its still your fault because you raised him. In all, it just seems pretty stupid to disown him.
