Poll What kind of car would you drive? (26 votes)

European Racer 46%
American Muscle 19%
Asian Tuner 31%

There are many cars on the eart, many shapes, sizes and costs but my question to you is:

If you have to choose between an European sports car, an American muscle car and an Asian tuner: What type would you choose and what car?

Example: Asian tuner
Example: Asian tuner
Example: American Muscle car
Example: American Muscle car
Example: European Sports car
Example: European Sports car

In the past, I used to be part of the Diamond Star tuner crowd. I guess that means Japanese.

Edit: There were already plenty of tuner crowds during the late 80's and early 90's. Back then we didn't even think of movies. We thought more of SCCA club racing.

I'm more of a city dweller, therefore I chose European sports...heard about the Swedish Koenigsegg....gotta try that Agera RS..damn son,no man is a man who never dreamed of driving one of these, but unfortunately, that's not easy to get in where I live..so the closest I know is the British Aston Martin...that DB9 makes me feel like Mr. Bond, but I don't know about its actual sensation,as I prefer not to dive to the general idea of driving exotics for special occasions only..

by the way...the poll needs to have an additional off-road choice, because with that,I can come across an ATV.

Normally I don't like to get to much attention while driving, so I guess for a day to day ride... BMW M3 or M5, or Audi RS 5 or RS7.

Otherwise an Aston Martin One-77 would do the job.

Yup.

I do like the old American Muscle cars, but I don't think it would do me much good in Norway... Not during winter at least.

In real life, I wouldn't mind getting a Volvo S40/S60/970 with the turbo 5 cylinder engine.

If money was no issue, it would definitely be a Bugatti Veyron... or a Delorean DMC-12.

I wouldn't say that would be the main factor
Mostly to do with geography, size of the company and an over saturated market

if I would have to buy a sport car, I'd choose a good American muscle car that is a high torque car. I estimate that I'd prefer much more high torque to high rpm. Also while I really like compact cars like the Focus because of it's turning accuracy, racing stability and easiness to drive, I'm sure a bigger or longer car would be much more comfortable. And a suspension that can be change for sport and comfort would be welcome.

Depends. American muscles for street and European racers for the track. Japanese tuners if you want to be lame (except for GTR, even then it should be stock).

I drive a 6.2 liter V8 benz, which is basically an Euro muscle car. Best of both worlds really.

Tough choice...the GT-R is my favorite car, hands down, but I'd also love to have a European sports sedan (M3, M5, or one of the Audi RS models). I'd rather have the GT-R, but I think a sports sedan would be a much more livable daily driver.

Well I guess some people really have different tastes. All those cars look like crap to me to be honest. Among western cars only BMWs and Fords are cool. The rest look like a twelve year old's designs.

But Nissan Skyline. Oh man. So much beauty from every angle.

@alim298: Which skyline are you talking about? That's such a broad line of cars, it ranges from GTR to Infinitis Gs (which are called skylines in Japan). New GTR looks like crap compared to the R32 or the R34 (which designs are inspired by European tour racers) IMO.

I currently drive a 2013 Peterbilt 388 with a 500 hp Paccar and 18 speed Eaton Fuller.

The only kind of "upgrade" I could get from this point would be a 2016 389 Pride and Class Edition.

Cars are for squares.

Yeah I've seen the new designs and they do look awful. I'm talking about the older designs. R34 GTR and its likes.

@dylandr: Because they are owned by GM and they don't have much of a market in Europe. Really the last things Europeans want is an oversized gas guzzler. Which kinda sucks.
