BBQ is just amazing. Anything you grill on coal becomes tenfold tastier.

I mainly grill meats. Grilled Kebab is the real deal. As for chicken, wings are the best part to grill. Although I only eat chicken breasts, I find them to go dry on the grill unlike legs which grill nicely. I'm not a fan of lamb in general owing to its unsavory fattiness, but its a perfect meat for the grill as the fat melts away and drips on the coal, which in turn burns it and infuses the meat with its aroma. I don't have experience with grilled seafood but I suspect it'll turn out to be splendid.

I don't care much for grilled vegetables, but I do grill tomatoes, green chilli peppers and onions.

This comes close to summing up my red meat disputes with mom. You'll be appalled to know that she insists on the necessity to boil red meat first before doing anything with it. I now buy my own red meat in order to avert that culinary catastrophe.

Ribs from Hi-Life in San Jose are so good, I'm not sure how they do it. Every restaurant I've gone to give me crappy ribs.

@Gaming-Planet: when my grampa was well... less old he shot the animal himself and cutted the meat himself, believe me nothing tastes better as an animal who died that close to being on your plate! (yes he did it humane and it were his own cattle)

@dylandr: Well those are good too, but this is the south. BBQ Pork is pulled pork (usually), and thus the need for the sauce. Even if it isn't we put sauce on everything anyways. lol

Jerk chicken or steaks marinated in lime juice and garlic are up there. I just like to do a selection of things though really, mix it up a bit. Flame grilling a chicken breast and some Halloumi and sticking them in a bun with some Harrisa is really nice too actually.

@dylandr: Steaks are a different thing! That is too much money and wonderfulness to be putting sauce on. lol Except at my parents where they always end up like charcoal unless I intervene. As a kid, that was sad times and lots of A1 sauce to drown out the flavor of burnt.

My favorite thing to have on the grill is sausage. I also like hot dogs, brats, and chicken on there.

Well if we're solely talking meat, pretty much just burgers, I'm really not a hot dog person.

My favorite BBQ is Ribs followed by Brisket and finally sausage. Also cooking steaks on a grill is called GRILLING by the way completely different process. BBQ is much lower heat at a much longer time.
