I have been doing a new diet and workout plan to get into my beach shape. How about everyone else?

Diet wise I have found that cutting out milk and most suger, butter, and cheese helps :D. Although I'll admit it is hard to cut out cheese and sugar completely.

I also picked up a new workout, where you do 6 barbell complex exercises with 6 reps and 3 sets. You do the first set of each exercise all at once with no rest until the first set is completed. It only takes about 15 minutes or less to do these, but they are tough, cardio afterwords is also pretty good. :D Anyway I have been doing these twice a week and this has been my plan that I have come up with thus far to get into beach shape.

Oh and if anyone wants to try the barbell complex workout, I can link the 6 exercises.

I just do what I have been doing for months now which is chest and ab exercises every morning. No visible changes so far and I fail at balancing.

I already am in shape.

That being said I plain to:

-become faster and build stronger legs

-get to a 275 bench press

-get to 175 pounds

-dunk the basketball

Well so am I, but I want to rip up the mass I have put on. I am trying to get over 140 right now even tho I am technically also trying to get more ripped, I range from 138-142, so I am getting close. :D 275 for bench, that would be cool.

No visible change for months? That means it is doing nothing in my opinion. If you workout your back btw, your arms will get bigger, I also think pull ups and chin ups are great for own body weight exercises. Try doing your abs with weight, it helps a lot.

I just do 12 reps of push ups with 6 sets and a 30 second break and then 30 reps of sit ups with 60 at a time in 4 sets, again with a 30 second break. I want to keep it simple and without weights. >.>

Alright if you don't want to use weights this is what I'd do. Make sure you do perfect form for all of these, it will yield better results.

Handstand Push Ups if you can 3 sets of 10

Pull Ups 3 sets of 10

Chin Ups 3 sets of 10

Wide Grip Push Ups 3 sets of 10

Close Grip Push Ups 3 sets of 10

Tricep Dips 3 sets of 10

For abdominals the fastest way to build the muscle for them so that it shows once you trim down, is doing weighted crunches.

Why did you ask if I am ripped? Sarcasm? Am I supposed to be ripped after doing that for months? :( And I'll take a look into those, thanks!

Wasn't trying to insult, it is just people that do own body weight stuff generally get more ripped and it sounds like you were putting effort into it, you should have gotten some form of results.

Diet could be a problem, you are eating protein right?

I would suggest with the exercises I just listed to have a protein drink before and after your workout. Eat protein with your meals and supplement wise, Glutamine is the best, because it has no side effects and promotes muscle growth and recovery.

Really though, I don't do any form of regular exercise. I'm skinny enough, just not in shape. I should probably change that.

"Beach shape"? That sounds lifted right out of Cosmopolitan or something. In any event, staying in shape is kind of a year round thing for me.

Yeah, same for me, but generally people try and trim as much fat as possible for summer, or try and get ripped. Besides you can't be in absolute perfect shape year round.

It actually isn't that dark i just have so much of it. I try to bushhog it down in the summer like how some people shave their dog so it doesn't die of heat stroke.

I'm doing a 12 week daily workout program. I'm 3 weeks in and love it. I'm not really trying to get in summer shape but more for health issues. I suffer from severe vomit inducing migraines 5+ times a month. Since I started working out seriously, I haven't had a single one. Might as well keep it up and get ripped doing it.

Swimming, running every day (or every other day during busy weeks), pushups, situps, barbell curls, pullups, skateboarding. That's enough to give me a pretty nice body for the summer.

Right now my only aim is to get a Chris helmsworth like physic, I'm not fat but I'm not thin either so I decided to grow more muscle mass, but first I need to lose a few pounds. My current training is like interval training, (don't know the exact word in english) I go through a circuit of excercises, finish one, do a 50 meter lap, then go to the other one and so on, takin breaks when necesary, I do the circuit 4 times and I'm done.
