What Do You Miss The Most About Pre-Corona Days?

Well its going on week 6 of quarantine/self isolation due to Covid-19 for me here. I am fortunate enough to still be able to go to work a few days a week so atleast it breaks up the monotony. I do miss going to shopping malls/plazas just to look around as well as going to the bars and restaurants to socialize. I miss the gym a lot but have been getting some great home workouts in and doing body weight exercises I never did before. What about you guys? What do you miss the most or can't wait to do as soon as this pandemic is over?

Freedom to do anything i wished :(

Not much to be honest. I wasn't very outgoing in the first place. But I guess I miss meeting up with my friends to watch a movie at the theater or eating at a restaurant.

I’m actually enjoying the break. I work hard lol. I’ve won 29k on an online casino site, paid off my credit card, and am in the process of selling my 2 cars and buying a Buick Verano.

I was never a big shopper so other than the liquor/beer/grocery/gas station stores, my shopping routine has barely been affected.

Although my sleeping schedule is way out of whack and I do miss the gym.

@Sevenizz: Damn lol nice win. That a lot more luck than most people have had the last couple months. Did you gamble online previously or just got into it during this lockdown? I've always been tempted to get into online poker with real money, I def have the time for it now.

Honestly I miss not having to wear a mask when I go out. Those things are annoying. Much respect to the healthcare professionals that are wearing them 10+ hours a day.

That's about it, though. 95% of my life is unchanged, for better or worse. At least now I have an excuse to not go out, can't blame my psychological shortcomings for that.

@ratchetclank92: I don’t want to promote the site here for obvious reasons, but it was on a slot game called Dead or Alive 2. I was on auto spin playing WoW Classic in the background and the bonus came up. They are usually duds. I was in flight to Feralas for a DM run. Was speeding up the bonus and on my last few spins, I saw thousands fly by my screen. Funny part is, my bet was only .36 cents lol. I wouldn’t say I’m new to online gambling, but I have been playing casually since I wanna say last summer? It’s a fun time waster.

Much of my life hasn't changed. The one thing I do miss is being able to take my wife out on the occasional date night.

Now that she and my son have moved, I'm going to be a bachelor for 1.5 months. Listing my house to sell, beer, pizza and video games! Bring on the quarantine!

Going to the gym. Not feeling like am being rude just because I am closer than 6 feet to someone else.

Get togethers and cook outs.

Miss grabbing a beer at a bar with a friend or 2 after work, not that I went all the time but id go 1-2 times a week, not having that kinda sucks, I'm saving money I guess..

I miss live music, local shows at dives, comedy shows, top golf, bowling, I miss alot actually. This thread ended up bumming me out once I stopped to really think about it

I can't go in for BJJ so we are doing Zoom calls to help students but obviously it's not the same. Fortunately my two boys train so I'm giving them daily classes at home instead of the two times a week they'd go into the academy. It's great for them but they are too young/small for me to get any real rolling in with.

There's also a bar-cade very close to my house that I hope survives this whole thing. The place is awesome and I have a whole new social circle there.

Other than that, I worked from home most of the time anyway so not much has changed.

Playing football and soccer on the weekends. Pretty much all I miss.

Eating and drinking out. Other than that, I am loving life right now. Don't need to make excuses to stay home and game. No traffic to and from work. Getting my debt down. This shit is great. I'm sure I'd feel differently if I knew anyone truly affected by this.

I miss hanging out with my crush and not having the balls to tell her how I feel. The bright side is, not seeing her brings down my anxiety.

Walking malls and going out to eat.

Businesses staying open late enough for me to shop before I head to work....

Fast food and restaurants. I always enjoyed going places to eat. Some places still doing deliveries but it's not really the same as going somewhere to eat.

Bookstores and Goodwill

Going clubbing with friends.
I went to house, techno and drum 'n bass parties every weekend.

As a fairly heavy introvert, I've definitely enjoyed the increased time at home. And as an "essential" worker, driving truck has never been better with barely 15% of the four wheelers on the road.
