So I'm bored and wanted to find what are the more popular educational choices of OT. I currently have a degree in info sys management and I am starting my LLB in Law in october, what about you?

Bachelor of Arts in Asian Studies and Religion (both majors). After that I'll probably get my Masters in Religion, and possibly a Doctorate in Religion, both focusing on Hinduism. That of course depends on whether or not I want to become a professor.
Supposedly one of the leading graduate studies professors at my university is one of the leading scholars on Hinduism in the world. So its definitely in my interest to stay where I am if I want to get into a graduate program.

There is nothing I can be taught. I was born a genius in that field. So I see no one else besides me is planning on getting a degree in women, huh?

A lot of people are born genius in specific field but you just have to get the degree confirmed legally by the institution so you can be recognized as a master of the field.

I have my B.A. in Theatre actually. I'd like to pursue my Master's Degree in Theatre Management eventually, but I'm having so much fun teaching that it will be hard to pull away for a few years. I'm also not totally sure if I want my Master's in a Theatre field anymore.
I've always been wildly interested in astronomy, oceanography, and paleontology so I might want to do something there. I'm basically interested in how the world and universe works and what sorts of creatures inhabit/used to inhabit the earth.
[QUOTE="super_mario_128"]I'm thinking of doing for a doctorate in Mathematics... Though I haven't given it a lot of consideration.Espada12
Going the professor route?
No idea. My Canadian cousins came to visit about a month ago and told that if I got a degree in Maths that I'd be almost guaranteed a job. I consider myself very good at the subject, but I'm not sure if it is right for me...Gender studies sounds pretty cool though, what little I know of it.Gender studies? :P I know you are probably kidding!

I ended up actually sitting down, researching and getting information on subjects I was interested in and I chose one based on my info. You should do the same.

Yeh, I know I need to do something where I'm likely to come out with plenty of job opportunities. Maths is something I'm good at, yet I'm not sure I'd like to spend four years of my life, and potentially decades more, basing my life around the topic. If I were to go for something that interests me: ancient history, or film studies, I'd enjoy the course, and subject, but what jobs will be available to me after that? Few in comparison to jobs for maths graduates. Gah, I have time to consider it at least. Thank you for taking your time to help me out.I'm going to switch my major to English later on this year since I had a change of heart about the journalism field.
Very good advice. Seriously, if you don't have a very definite idea of what you wish to study and how you can make a career out of it (and be realistic - the world doesn't need that many professors), don't go to school just yet.
I went to university my first go round without any definite thoughts about the future. I just had some nebulous notion about getting tenure and writing history books. I started out studying history and anthropology. Two years in, I decided I hated anthropology and sort of fell into the geography field by accident. I ended up loving it but unfortunately for me, I was already locked into the arts half of the program due to my decision to get a history degree. I much preferred the science side of the field. (In Canada, you can get either a BA or a BSc in geography depending on your field of study.) I came out with a BA in history (19th century Europe) and geography (distaster prevention and relief management) with some pretty mediocre grades which would've made it very hard to get into grad school had I chosen that route.
I had a lot of friends who just kind of drank their way through to a mountain of debt and a meaningless BA and nearly all struggled to find decent work after graduating.
By contrast, my friends who were focussed on a goal or who went into applied sciences or medicine all landed high paying jobs soon after graduation. Didn't matter if they got a P. Eng or a 2 year diploma, that's where the work is.
I finished year one in Information Technology and when I finish my Bachelor degree I am gonna do The masterDegree ineither gaming design or Business administration

Sorry man, I just thought the way it was phrased was funny. I have a PhD (soooo long but worth it) in Astronomy/Astrophysics and bachelor in Earth Science:D.
Weirdly though, I had other interests than Earth Science (ethics). Oh well...
