Rewatched South Park seasons 1 to 22 the last year. Waiting for a discount on season 23.

On Thundercats episode 127 of 130.

Maison Ikkoku

Rewatching The X-Files season 9. Ready for the original show to be over, but there are still some pretty good episodes in season 9. I'm dying to find out what lame excuses they came up with to resurrect a number of characters in the Event series included with this boxset.

Finished Buffy season 3 of 7 yesterday. Worst school ever, including the graduation.

Rewatching Star Trek TNG, and Mandalorian.

About half through S1 of TNG, pretty bad. Just waiting for Rikers beard to appear.

Not as good as it used to be, but still good. Better than Rick and Morty, and I like Rick and Morty. No idea what's going on with other adult cartoons. Will watch Primal at some point, though.

Something called Below Deck. It’s a ‘reality’ about the crews aboard charter yachts. As a boater myself, I find the technical aspects of the show entertaining.

I don’t watch much tv though. It’s mostly fake news, unfunny comedies, or badly scripted dramas.

Recommend the 1984 series over it. Although that is comparatively very slow and traditional.

What don't really like about the new one, kind of up it's over the top and up it's own ass.

Also watching my regular animation lineup of Family Guy, Bob's Burgers, Simpsons and Bless the Hearts. Also doing another run through of Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations. For Anime Assassination Classroom, Fire Force, Danganronpa and Gunslinger Girl

I don't watch television much in general, but as for series...nothing at the moment. I'm looking forward to watching the next season of Big Mouth when it's released this month on Netflix though.

@uninspiredcup: There was some kind of magic in that beard. Pretty sure shaving it was what threw Insurrection off the rails. Though I can't blame him for letting Dianna do it.

Anyway, been watching Legend of Kora since it was put on Netflix. Never went out of my way to see it due to mixed reception, turns out it's freaking awesome.

I believe it was Ru Paul's Drag Race, thanks to girlfriend. But I'm not gonna deny that I was entertained too.

Korra is ok, I thought. It has nothing over The Last Airbender, which is one of the best cartoons (animes?) ever made, but a solid cartoon none the less. I think the mixed reception has to do with TLAB setting the bar very freaking high, and Korra couldn't quite keep up. It's good for what it is, even though slightly dissapointing.

Finished rewatching the original X-Files and watched the Event series (season 10 from 2016). Overall, I'm disappointed with where they took it after the fourteen year break. Mulder and Scully just HAD to break up so that everything could go back to square one. The alien colonization that was set for 2012 at the end of the original series was pretty much completely ignored. Aliens shouldn't even be a conspiracy anymore after what was supposed to happen. Assistant Director Skinner has, depressingly, had no promotions or lateral moves in fourteen years. The humor just isn't there anymore. It's more corny now. I mean, Mulder now has the X-Files ringtone. Disgusting. That whole episode was unfunny. And, let me guess... Season 11 ends with yet another cliffhanger.

Wait, what am I saying? I should have said A.D. Skinner has had no promotions or lateral moves in twenty-three years.

@Litchie: Yeah, most people's criticisms of Kora are actually just comparisons to Avatar. It's actually really cool for those who watched it without so many preconceptions. Also doesn't help that Kora's final season wasn't as good as the first three, whereas Avatar got better as it went.

Myeah. Also, I personally don't really like Korra as a character. Found her a bit of an ignorant and annoying douche the whole series through, whereas Aang was just plain awesome.

Watching the Netflix short-run Yorkshire Ripper documentary.

Not really as good as the BBC one, and kinda hate when they stylize stuff like a slasher movie to be cool and modern, like, these were real living people, not movie props. Still, it has a lot of first hand stuff from police/detectives, which is interesting.

Rewatching True Detective after five years. Just the first season. I never bothered with the sequels.

No one talks like Matthew McConaughey. I can't understand him sometimes. It's not his Texan accent, it's the way he mumbles. I've had to go back and use the subtitles a lot. It doesn't sound authentic.

If cable channel, BBC America reruns a lot of ST:NG and ST:DS9 during the day, and World documentaries on the weekend. DVD Box Sets fill in other times. PC Gaming, or learning GDScript for the GODOT gaming engine takes up the rest of the time.

Watched the 2007 mini-series of Oliver Twist. Was pretty good must say. Do like when they take Charles Dickens stuff are remove the more whimsical and stylized elements where it feels like a real place than a bunch of perfect sets.
