What albums are you most looking forward to for the rest of the year?...

For me it is great. My top 3 favourite bands are coming out with new albums this year. Well, as far as I know with My Chemical Romance...

So for me it is:

Want a lot:
Paramore (September)
Green Day (May 15th)
My Chemical Romance (TBA, 2009?)
Blink 182 (sometime this year, apparantly)
Wolfmother (surely, it's got to be soon and I am sure I have heard something about it...)

I don't know about any of these, but I am just naming some great bands who I wouldn't mind to see a new album this year as I can't think of any more that will be coming out...

It is exactly to do with Riot! being such a large success. I can see the next album being incredibly mainstream. All We Know Is Falling is a great album and Riot! wasn't bad as well. I dislike really poppy music and I can see their next album being like that.solid_mario

I love Riot!, I really do, but I don't think it's their best work. I think All We Know Is Falling is their best album. I think the next album won't be as poppy as Riot! was.

Here's what Hayley Williams said a few days ago:

Most of the songs you'll hear have to do with friendship. in fact, this is the first paramore album that wasn't written mostly about love relationships. i have made a lot of friends and i've lost a lot of friends over the past couple years... and it's all gonna be there for you to dissect. i think, too, that the past couple years were some of the first times in a while that i've felt the burn of other people's ignorance... a lack of patience and a quickness to judge. it forced me to "grow up" and realize what's real. who's worth the pain and who's not. i'm most proud of these lyrics because they were the healer. a couple of these songs and their lyrics acted like some kind of therapist... forcing our band to talk out the true issues we've dealt with.. both as a band and personally. i owe a lot to these songs! of course, i'm nervous about putting it all out there on the table... but what else is there to do!? i'm just as excited to hear people's thoughts.

This makes me even more excited..

That new Gallows album came out today in the UK I think, I've heard a couple of songs from it now, they're very good, much better than Orchestra of Wolves imo, I'm also looking forward to a new Agalloch album, and also Evangelion by Behemoth.

New Megadeth album!!!:D

Aerosmith- summer 2009- originally June, but their tour delayed it

Van Halen- sometime 2009- YAY David Lee Roth is back in the band!

Ozzy Osbourne- 2010- Hopefully Zack Wydle doesn't ruin most of the songs though, I only liked some songs on Black rain and that was mostly due to his tuned down guitar playing.

Pearl Jam- 2009- Only grunge band I like, I heard they are going to try something different again.

Avenged Sevenfold, Darkest Hour, Killswitch Engage (I hope it doesn't sound like their previous record), Mushroomhead, PARAMORE~! and Nim Vind.

So far the albums that have come out this year have been alright. Static-X's Cult of Static is probably my favorite so far. Dope's No Regrets is great, especially the rerecorded versions of Rebel Yell and Nothing for Me Here. The new Papa Roach album is a major disappointment to me, I miss their old sound.
