Many young voters are too immature and misinformed. Should be at least 21...probably more like 25 though.

So the majority disagrees with you and you want to disenfranchise them. I take it you aren't a fan of democracy are you?
Ageism ftl. I bet you also believe Pokemon are the devil's tools since you value the opinions of elder members of society so much more than the younger members of society whether they're correct or not.
What's with the bashing? He has a point. Alot of you don't have Facebook/Twitter/Social lifes in general, you wouldn't understand his frustration. Many 18 year olds are so clueless about why they would vote for someone. It's been nothing but ignorance on Facebook today. I heard one guy say he wasn't going to vote for Romney because he looks like the devil...I mean how can some of you NOT see the picture here?
So are 30 year olds, 40 year olds, and 50 year olds. Many young voters are too immature and misinformed..
Redick_is_Magic
I agree. But I would say 30.
Not everyone will know anything about economics and the world once they graduate high school.
Once a person lives in the real world on their own for a long while, then I feel they can properly vote.

And some older members of society wouldn't vote for Obama because he's "black, Arab, Muslim, Communist etc." You point?
I'm not generalizing Republicans, I'm just simply stating that both age brackets have pig-ignorant people and not restricted to the younger generations.

You are just as bad as the TCSo you would agree with the policy that people under 30 shouldn't pay taxes?I agree. But I would say 30.

good point but that has less to do with age and more to do with upbringing and the era they grew up in
[QUOTE="Redick_is_Magic"]So are 30 year olds, 40 year olds, and 50 year olds. I can verify this. Mother experiences a lot of ignorant old folks where she works. Many young voters are too immature and misinformed..

No, instead of twitter, they plaster their lawns with stupid signs like "Defend freedom, defeat Obama". Ignorance isn't age related.[QUOTE="Vesica_Prime"]

Yet they take their ignorance to the voting ballot just like the young "Democrats" you've described also bringing their ignorance to the voting ballot.
What's the difference? That the ignorance is in favour of your political party? Is that what makes it okay for you?

Who's talking about Democrats? These 18 year olds who voted today couldn't tell you the difference between a Democrat and a banana.

No. It's equally bad. It's empty rhetoric into trying to scare people to vote for Romney. Please Log In to post.
