USPS Package says out for delivery still but mail already came. Is it lost?

I ordered something online and they used UPS Basic. UPS basic is when they transfer it to USPS for finally delivery. Well on USPS website it says its out for Delivery. I wasn't home when mailman came but they already did and yet no package. The status says out for delivery. Is it lost or will it be delivered tomorrow. Anyone had similar situation happen?

USPS has absolutely useless tracking. They will show things as being in transit a week or more after delivered.xaos

This. Sometimes the status won't even be updated until it's at your doorstep.

To OP- Just give it another day maybe. If you don't get it within the next time the mailman/woman dilivers your package, call them.

Did you get Basic Remote or Basic Urban? It took an entire 7 seconds of googling to find this:
* Basic Remote is for rural areas. UPS picks up the package from the shipper and delivers it to your local post office. The US Postal Service then handles final delivery to your home.
* Basic Urban is for more populated areas. With this service, UPS handles both the package pickup and final delivery to the customer. xaos

Depends, usually they give you a pink note to write your request to deliver again or pick it up at the post office. This is why, I hate usps they wont drop it off unless there is a person at present, and I mean my neighborhood is relatively safe except and the only thing they steal around here is sound systems :P (yes they break into your car for your subwoofer/headunit but not your car).

All in all, Ill pay extra just to have fedex or ups deliver.

So lucky. R u in korea? Or did u go when they did SM Town in LA. I so wanted to go but it was like a 10 hour drive to LAchansaet

I wish. Yeah I went to the LA smtown. Staples was only a 30 minute drive from where I am at, so I lucked out. Im hoping theyll hold another concert.
