Nah I liked Looper better than Dark Knight Rises, and I'm probably not remembering some good movies.
I tend to see movies from all kinds of times.
Like recently I watched Panty.. Panty.. Pontypool. I loved that one. It's not a scary movie but it was fun. I loved all the Doc's lines.

If TDKR was the best of 2012 then it was a pretty dissapointing year in movies.

Dark Knight Rises was actually the worst movie I saw in 2012, coming from a huge Batman fan.

Skyfall is the best blockbuster film last year by miles, it's not even a contest. Just takes a royal dump over all the comic nerd wet dream movies.

I didn't find him distractingly bad, just flat. Very flat. I was afraid of Sacha Baron Cohen and Helena Bonham Carter after seeing them in 'Sweeney Todd' (as an aside I propose that Tim Burton be henceforth barred from doing musicals), but they actually worked pretty well in this one (at least for their roles).

i have only watched TDKR and Skyfall this year and i found both of them to be equally good

Id have to see all the rest to make that conclusion, but it was one of my favorites

Personally I thought Skyfall was better

.....I didn't see Argo (want to see it), Lincoln, Zero Dark Thirty, or Django Unchained, I'm betting at least a couple of those were better than Batman as well.
