The Walking Dead!!! *Spoilers*

So, what did everyone think about the end of tonights episode? Personally, I was glad, I couldn't really see where his character was going. I must say, ever since sophie died, this season has really picked up the pace. First sophie, then dale and now shane?

You know, their rivalry is the best part of the show, so I hope they meet some new characters soon. It was pretty good though. I liked how Rick killed him, I liked how he didn't just pull his gun and fire. It was personal. Then screaming "This wasn't me!" was... pretty awesome. Rick played the situation the right way, I hope they take it somewhere new next season, and I'm sure the finale will be something else.

Also, its airborne if you didn't know.

Pretty good episode. When they went into the woods, I was thinking "oh sh!t someones going to die". Next episode will be pretty awesome. Did Carl think Rick was a walker and that's why he was pointing his gun at him?

Also about the comic book

[spoiler] Shane gets killed by Carl when he shoots him through the neck before they leave Atlanta. At the prison, Rick learns you don't need to be bit to turn into a walker, so he goes back, digs Shane up and kills him. How did he know Shane would be a walker? And how would he turn into one underneath the dirt? [/spoiler]

It looks like Rick is going to finally tell the group what Jenner (the researcher) said in last seasons finale. Hes been holding out on it for far too long.

Its obvious to glen and daryl now now know after the kid shane killed turned into a zombie without a bite.

Well there goes one of the main reasons I watch this show :(

Very good episode. Got a slight chill when that huge herd of walkers came rambling in.

T-dog needs to have some dramatic character moment. Maybe he can be like Otis and be the groups Swiss Army Knife.

about time they killed of shane. he should have been dead 10 episodes ago.

btw im calling it right now: the farm gets overrun by walkers, that rival gang shows up to save them, the group gets captured (or they join) and the gang is led by the governor

Thankfully, he (Shane) is gone, all he did was lust after something that wasn't his. Now all that remains is what will happen in the finale. I think that for the story to go on, they will leave the farm and head to a new destination.

Really anxious for the finale, but I'm not sure what the show will be like without Shane. He was the most developed/twisted/antagonistic human character of the cast, it will never be the same without him (even though by no means did I like him).

Wow! I just finished watching the 11 pm showing. Definitely intense. I think that we all saw that something had to be coming w/ Shane and Rick, things just couldn't go on like they were, and Shane clearly wasn't going to change his ways to fit in. Looks like there's a definite possiblity that a couple more characters will get killed off next episode.

The group is slimming down, I feel like if they kill too many more people off they'll have to add in some more characters for them to have a realistic shot at survival. I kind of thought a few episodes back that Randall might become a new able-bodied male, but that clearly didn't happen.

Apparently the actor will be on a new show.

Im assuming after this season it will FINALLY be the prison arc/governor.

Remember when the CDC guy whispered into Rick's ear?

Yeah you remember and remember when Rick shot the other two guys in the bar a couple of times but the last shots were in the head? Remember when Rick and Shane saw the dead walker but with NO bite mark?

This proves what I have been thinking all along: Everyone is technically infected, regardless of whether you get bit or not. Was anyone excited about this, think otherwise, and think that it was obvious from the beginning and I'm an idiot?

This episode got me on my toes, very tense and dramatic. My gripe was that it was still slow but forgiven because of the buildup near the end. Great episode. Can't wait for the next one!

To Leviathan, I think you could be right. That is all very logical but the only thing is why wouldn't he share that with the others or test out the theory. He did seem surprised when Shane got up. Also i hope T-Dog is next. He has done almost nothing at all this season and is really one of the most pointless characters unless they run into Daryl's brother later.Kurushio

Good point. Perhaps the concept was incredibly disturbing to tell the group? And perhaps he just didn't want to believe it was true.

If this isn't the explanation of what happened, I really hope they explain it.
