During my off days from work, when I'm gaming late at night, it's just Lay's chips & a can of Mountain Dew to get me in the mood while gaming on PC. For just watching late shows, it's the Two minute Noodle bowl for my midnight snack. And yes, I watch what I eat, think you!

Fun fact: If I am up late gaming on Multiplayer, this is the snack of choice if I am winning:

Cereal or Pop Tarts. Unless I've been drinking. Do not mix a bowl of cereal with a belly full of beer. You will not sleep well.

If drinking, a good deli style sammich dripping with condiments.

Dortitos for me, and sometimes chocolate. I'm trying to cut down on the chocolate though.

It usually ends up being Snickers bars or watermelon. (What a combo) for me lately. Lol Savoury would be instant noodles. I usually go for a slightly gourmet Korean crab flavour.

If needing just a little snack, some crisps or a cookie. If properly hungry, a sandwich. Both downed with some tea or fruit juice.

Usually some dried coconut chips or a handful of almonds.

Most of the time I just grab a fizzy water, makes me feel full and is good hydration before sleep.

Easier said then done. I should have mention that I'm trying to eat fruits during night time snacks. Grapes & Oranges are good snacks to go by.

You only get fat if you don't pay attention to what you are eating and not keeping track of your weight is how you or anyone ending up getting fat in the first place. Eating midnight snacks is okay, just don't get carried away.

@davillain-: It is hard. I'm also awake at 5AM and go to the gym, so by the time 7 AM rolls around I am pretty hungry. Going another two hours is sometimes not possible. I eat a big breakfast though and I'm training myself to enjoy the anticipation.

Though there is the argument that you should eat something immediately after going to the gym, this is double-true if it's a morning workout and you have not had any fuel for the whole night.

Nutrition is so interesting; if I could go back in time, I'd probably get my degree in nutrition, become a registered dietitian.

@mrbojangles25:

It important not to burn out. Male friend of mine who is crazy start to run 2 or 4 mile morning and night. Years later he up at 3 am if he have to and do 8 mile a day no excuses even if with full day work ahead. 10 degree outside. It not matter to him. If work was 6:30am for example he be up early enough to get miles in. It dangerous though. More advance runner tell him to be careful.

Same with gym. So many people I think do not understand what they doing. Even with trainer. Trainer job it to get client. Trainer regime not always best for client. It a big difference between good trainer and bad trainer. It also about how you conduct self outside of exercise. I would not to be train myself to be professional desk type worker. It waste a workout.

I eat those graze snacks you get from subscribing to them.

If I eat junk food at night I will have stomach problems.
