Matter of perspection... People see what they want to see, because they let fear "cloud" their judgement, rather than seeing what is...what is logically.

Also, I have lost count of how many times the world was predicated to end, with specific dates mentioned and yet... those date have passed, and the world is safe and sound, hmm...

For example, I remember hearing back in 1998, about predication, in which it stated that World War III would occur in the time frame of 2000-2005. Hmm, here we are in the middle of 2006 and yet... the world is safe...and we have not had anything that would close to war on that scale (and please, do not say Iraq War, because that is nothing in comparsion to previous wars in the history of the world), to say the least. (On side note, this is only one example of many)

Another example: In the early part of 1999, I heard predication (made by the infamous Nostradamus), in which it stated that New York was going to be destroyed on the 7 month (July) of 1999...this same event would start World War III and yet... New York is still here, safe and sound. Also, if anyone has any thoughts of saying "911" was that predication mentioned, think about this: The date was off by little over 2 years...and regardless of what happen on "911", the city of New York is still standing. In addition, here we are, 7 years later and yet... the world has not faced anything close to the scale of World War III.

i watched something on this a couple of years ago, pretty interesting really. the bible code, they found it is indeed a 'living' word and you could decode all sorts of things out of it - that happened, and if things changed - the word would change when decoded - really complex method - i did hear about the comet that no one is supposed to believe in coming to the earth in 2012.

at least i'll have a few years with my Wii :P

Did you know that people who study the skies/space can see any Comets/Asteroids that are heading to Earth, years before they will hit? If a Comet was coming in 2012, people who study space would of seen it by now. A Comet is predicted to come close to Earth in 2052, but nothing in 2012. If a Comet was coming in 2012, we would have seen it in Space heading towards us by now.

We have technology to defend against a Comet anyway. Did you also know that the Bible said in 6/6/06 the Devil will come and kill us all? He didnt.
