Tech or Mech???

Someone told me cars aren't techs but mechs.

I was baffled. I always thought all mechs were techs but I was laughed at and driven out by society and was wondering if OT knew the difference between techs and mechs so I can return with greater knowledge.

Are cars really mech? What about iPhones? What else is mech but not tech?

Cars have computers in them nowadays, unless you are driving a standard transmission.

Standards have even more mech than tech.
