UPDATE: GOODELL HAS BEEN VANQUISHED IN BIGGEST SUPERBOWL COMEBACK OF ALL TIME

Not sure how many American football fans are on here, but what's the prediction?

I gotta go with the Patriots here. Great offense, great defense, great special teams, best coach, best quarterback, least-penalized... just don't see the Falcons winning unless the Patriots turn the ball over.

Patriots: 34-24

Dang, i like your call. Im a Jaguars fan, but i love both these teams. Tom Brady is my favorite QB, but them Falcons have amazing teamwork. I go 44-33 Patriots. Always rep that AFC.

You think 77 combined points? I don't see the Falcons cutting up New England with their lack of running game. Falcons defense isn't great, so I do see New England putting up between 30-40 pts

@Shmiity: Falcons defense and offense sure was good enough to destroy team after team and get them to the Superbowl.

Not sure who to root for.

Atlanta has never won a championship, and I always love an underdog.

Yet, it I'd love to see the look on Roger Goodell's face if New England wins and he has to present them with another Lombardi trophy.

Roasting Goodell would be so satisfying.

Used to live in Atlanta, and I hope they finally win a championship. Long overdue. The Braves only ever won one, and that's it for the whole city.

Atlanta has the better offense. Their running game is deadlier and complements their jet-powered passing attack. But NE is very nearly as good. The thing about Atlanta is that they remind me of that champion New Orleans team. Not gonna be denied. For the first time i've ever seen, it's an Atlanta team that doesn't look like it'll fold or choke.

New England's defense is far better though. That's the biggest difference. Atlanta will score, but the Patriots defense will make stops. I'm not sure Atlanta's D can make stops without turnovers.

New England is the favorite and should be. But Atlanta is very good. I expect an incredible Super Bowl.

I'm rooting for the Falcons, and not just because I hate the Patriots (although there's that, too). I legitimately like the Falcons, and several players on their roster.

Really, of all the teams to make the playoffs this year the Falcons were my preferred choice, but I never thought they'd make it this far. They always seem to fall apart when they need to drive in that final nail.

They're not going to win easily, though Julio Jones presents something of a mismatch for them. Hopefully New England either has to give too much to him, or they have to sacrifice enough coverage to him that the Falcons can make them pay elsewhere.

What do you by lack of a running game? If you mean the Falcons you are wrong, they have a very good running game.

Perhaps I read that wrong.

I just don't see what the Falcons have once Julio Jones is double covered. They aren't going to run over the Pats front, it's just too good and has been good every game. On top of this, Falcons defense can't stop the slew of Patriots offensive schemes. I see this game having points, but the Patriots will outgun them because of their superior defense. Defense wins Superbowls. 34-24 or something like that. Or from what we saw against the Steelers, 34-17.

@GamerForca: "The Braves only ever won one, and that's it for the whole city."

All those Division titles and one ring.

"I expect an incredible Super Bowl."

I hope you right because these playoffs have been snoozfests. =(

They would fight 'til the death.

Falcons are my favorite been so since 1996. But I have to think realistically, I am going with the Patriots.

I have been 10-1 in my playoff predictions so far, only lost was the giants vs packers game.

I would be pleasantly surprised if the Falcons won, but I have a feeling the Patriots will get the job done once again. Honestly though, as long as the Cowboys don't make it I'm happy. It's always a good day in football when the Cowboys lose.

34 years a UK Skins fan but today a Falcons fan RISE UP!!!

As the Pats will use a safety to help double up on Jones the key will be how the likes of Sanu and Gabriel really step up. You don't stop the Pats O but hopefully they can contain them!

I suspect that the Pats will runaway with it by halftime. As a Broncos fan, it is painful to recollect, but this game has Broncos/Seahawks 2013 vibe written all over it.

Although I'm hoping for a great back and forth game where the Falcons come up on top.

Historic blow-out going in the other direction. The AFC is crap. ATL looks head and shoulders better, and unless something changes soon, the second half will be a snooze.

Hawks are sweet, they always turn it on in the playoffs. Going through a bit of slump now, but for them, it doesn't matter as long as they're in. Them and the pens are the two teams I can watch any day if my Avs are not on.

LOL what a comeback.
