in my school that I have known for about a year. I'm 15. I'm in the 9th grade. She is in the same grade as me, but we don't have any classes together this year. Anyways, we were kind of friend since i met her, and for the whole time I've knowsn her, up until November, she was goin out with my really good friend (almost best). I've liked her ever since i met her. Anyways, when they broke up, as mean as this may sound, I was happy that I could get a chance. I didn't feel AS guilty, cuz my friends was wit another chick the next week or so.
Well, this girl is really flirty. She'll stare you in the eyes and smile at you and just have that attracted vibe about her. But she really likes this other guy in a grade up. The guy even ditched her for drugs and she still likes him. I know she deserves better. She found out i liked her a while, but i think shes kinda forgetting now. But I want to try and hook up with her, but she is almost obsessed with this guy, and shes asking him to the Valentines dance.
So i'm just wondering what I could do to maybe get her off that loser and start to get closer to her.

You can't do anything.
If she really does like him that much, then any attempt to break them up is probably going to backfire on you. She'll see you trying to break them up, and then she'll see you as more of an enemy. That will draw her farther away fromyou, and closer to him.
That's not to say that you can't tell her what you think of him. You're her friend, so you can do that. But that's pretty much all you can do, and you can't be a jerk about it. Not if you want your efforts to be productive.
