Apparently it was a third-party JS gone awry. I couldn't even read a thread here because Firefox would crash after scrolling through five posts, but it looks to be behaving today.

Which is a good thing, because Ars Technica is down. I was reading their in-depth Android history article too. :( EDIT: Not down, I just had to clear my cache because of an earlier hiccup. >_>

@harashawn: Sure. I had my old GS account. I had a lot of stuff going on, and needed to get away from here. I changed my password so I couldn't get back. Eventually, you talked to me using Windows Live Messenger, and you kept going at it until it broke me down, and I made this account.

Does it bother anyone else when people mispronounce particularly? It seems to be so common. They say pahr-tik-er-lee. Drives me nuts.

@22Toothpicks: That one I haven't heard before but there is no excuse for that. Lazy. When Especially is pronounced EXspecially, that gets me mad.

@binpink: Yeah that bugs me too. How about people that misuse facetious? I swear people think it's a synonym for funny.

@22Toothpicks: Yes! Or when someone's "literally" doing something they aren't doing. Like "I'm literally dying from exhaustion!" Oh really? Literally?

@binpink: I think the worst is when people actually verbalize text lingo like AF or even worse LOL. I've even heard someone say ROFL. I would be embarrassed to use terms like that in a conversation. I'm all for brevity but that's just lazy and stupid.
