My Looks - 3 out of 10.

9/10 :D
but I am fat, so that drags me down to a 4/10 :(
fortunately some people see the 9/10 underneath
I always enjoy reading these threads. ...some people are honest and someare ...hmmm....not so much (given that a 5 is 'average' and 68% of the population should be b/w a 4 and a 6....or about 7/10 people are b/w 4 and 6)rawsavon
Clearly, threads of this nature should come with photographies!

I concur5 is not average, 6-7 is average, 8-8.5 is good looking and +9 is hot like really hot. This is how I perceive it.GazaAliI take it you are not using a scale from 1-10... What is your range (from 3-10)?
:lol man I didn't mean it this way. I mean what I consider average "looking" is about 6-7 on the looks scale, you know what I mean. In that scale, 5 would be lacking.
edit: actually you made a good point. Looks scale is different, you rarely have people looking -3/10, meaning that the majority of people are +3/10 which makes ratings like 3,2,1/10 invalid.

5 is the intermediate value between the values 0 and 10, thus the average, regardless of perception, this isn't up for subjective interpretation. (:

read my edit guys.GazaAliYou will not have very many 1's, 2's, 9's, or 10's b/c that is how the bell curve works. That does not change anything http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://classes.kumc.edu/sah/resources/sensory_processing/images/bell_curve.gif&imgrefurl=http://classes.kumc.edu/sah/resources/sensory_processing/learning_opportunities/sensory_profile/bell_curve.htm&h=357&w=529&sz=14&tbnid=LivRHLoLrIXouM:&tbnh=89&tbnw=132&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dbell%2Bcurve&zoom=1&q=bell+curve&hl=en&usg=__QKK1c40R96gTmqybiuYoyFXapIs=&sa=X&ei=-MMcTbqzGMH38Aae1fTSDQ&ved=0CDoQ9QEwAw
well I don't know, you don't always have to use 0-10 scale, you can use 3-10 scale because of invalid ratings. I don't know, this is how I see it, like when we are talking about height and someone says "I'm average, 170cm" that does not mean he used a 0-340cm scale, he rather used a scale where 160 is short and 180 is tall.GazaAliThat is why I asked what your scale was (the range).
