Rate the Korean movie Parasite

It's a 7/10. I just found it okay. There are a ton of scenes that just drag on for too long.

8/10 to me. Great acting but some scenes just drags a bit, probably different cinema techniques over there.

I went in without watching the trailer and absolutely loved it. 9 out of 10 for me.

10/10 I don't think there was any way it could've possibly been better.

It was a really spectacular film on so many levels.

I really did not know what to expect going in on this one and it delivered and exceeded all my expectations despite all the hype surrounding it.

On a storytelling level, Parasite was unpredictable the entire way through. A lot of twist and turns I just did not see coming yet they all made logical sense from a story perspective. The acting, the music score and everything is top-notch.

One of the biggest stars of the film is its set design and how every frame packs a certain detail that reminisces the themes in symbolic ways. The dynamics of the plot all mixed like bread and butter served purpose. I don't feel like anything went into waste in Parasite's execution.

It is also a genre-bending piece, and it can be seen as many different genres because of that.

2019 was already a stellar year for cinema and Parasite might just be one of the very best and well-deserved of all its recognition and success. I can't stress enough how much this film needs to be watched.

I give it an 8/10, pretty good, not that great but still good, wouldn't have been my pick for best picture but am okay it won anyways.
