If LOTR doesn't win I'll eat my ipad. brucewayne69Can I write that in as a bet? :D Actually I'm afraid if we both pick LOTR, OT will choose something else just to troll us. :P I am that confident though. Very few would pick BTTF or Indiana Jones. The Dark Knight Trilogy is really polarizing, it seems half of the community likes some of the movies, and the other half likes the others. Not many people have watched the Star Wars Trilogy recently. The LOTR Trilogy however is very popular and well-liked, especially given the demographics of this forum. And given that The Hobbit just came out and a lot of us are reminiscing about the LOTR movies... money in the bank. 8) I need my ipad.. but I would seriously do whatever stupid thing (as long as its somewhat funny) OTers would have me do. No way LOTR doesn't win.

No way LOTR doesn't win. Yeah, it looks like LOTR is pulling away. It's still in the early days though, we could get some Star Wars fans crashing in :) I love Indiana Jones and TDK, but they can't really compete with the fanpower of LOTR and SW. I've never even seen Back to the Future, but people always talk about how amazing it is.
That is so hard to pick between those films. My personal favorite is TDK trilogy, but all of those are classics.
i thoroughly enoyed the Transformers trilogy.
love the movies.
konvikt_17
That is an incorrect opinion.
joking, I like the Transformer trilogy too:P
Ironman trilogyDarthkaiser
ooh forgotabout IronMan.
i could watch the movies over and over and still not get tired of them.
cant fvcking wait till the 3rd one comes out next year.

I could be wrong, but I think he might mean Shinya Tsukamoto's series of films.

probly:P
seemed kinda odd to list that since the 3rd video isnt out yet
well this is...awkward:oops:
Toy Story, seriously.
Big_Pecks
loses massive points for not killing any of its characters in the last movie.
could've been great.
million dollar move, two cent finish.
Godfather>allwis3boi
godfather 3 is sh!t and doesnt count, you should know better ;)
Since the first two films are better than most trilogies anyway, the fact that 2 of those is better than 3 of everything else automatically makes it the logical choice as the best.Well, if it were the LOTR books instead of the movies, that would easily take the cake.
I honestly think that the Dark Knight might be more entertaining but I there is so much to be learned about life and human nature from LOTR.
Godfather>allBossPersonThis might be the answer if 3 didn't suck so much. Im going with LOTR 3 was better than any movie in those trilogies
on your list, objectively i'd say Lord of the Rings.
personally Dark Knight Trilogy. For a long time i watched The Dark Knight once every month for almost a year. even if i wasn't always paying attention, i'd watch a little whenever the action sequences were on. and i notice i've been doing the same thing with Rises lately as well.
truthfully, I really like all of them for different reasons.
feast franchise. :)

Can't make the laughie face big enough for this bit o' troll. First one? Pretty awesome. The rest? Garbage. I'm inclined to agree, however, due to all of TCs crap choices in the poll...
LOTR? Too obvious, and though I love them, not strong enough to be crowned "Best Ever" for a VARIETY of reasons.
Nolan's Batman movies? HELL no. Though they were fun, they were FAR from masterpieces, ANY of them. Crap, then Sorta good but crap, then WEAK crap...
Star Wars wasn't good then, and haven't aged well now. Empire gets a nod for that series but the others? Pull the other one.
Indy movies also haven't aged well, and went downhill FAST in quality.
Godfather, others have said all that needs saying there.
I'm gonna have to say:
I like the "Die Hard 1, 2, & 4" comment, I thought #4 was especially strong...
OR:
"Godzilla x Mechagodzilla"
"Godzilla: Tokyo S.O.S."
"Godzilla: Final Wars"
OR:
"Casino Royale"
"Quantum of Solace"
"Skyfall"
The Daniel Craig films are something rejuvenating to James Bond, & especially to Ian Fleming's original books and vision.
OR:
The Entire Avengers Collective, because of the way it holds formula with comics crossing over, and fueling each other -
"HULK" (Yes, I include Ang Lee's film - It's pretty brilliant if a bit flawed)
"Incredible Hulk"
"Iron Man"
"Iron Man 2"
"Thor"
"Captain America"
"The Avengers"
;)
(Where's "RAMBO"? Also, "Alien" 1, 2, 3, 4, AVP, AVP2, & "Prometheus", just to piss people off)
EDIT: "Back to the Future"??? Did you SEE them? You wouldn't have included them if you had... TRASH.

You say TC's trilogy choices suck, and then choose to replace them with movies that aren't trilogies.
Weird.
