Texas is superior to Oklahoma in every single aspect any person can think of.

You are basically comparing kuwait to california......shame on you

Texas, because it's larger and has contributed more to this world than Oklahoma has.

Texas is my least favorite state in the country, and yes it's because of the MANY people I know from Texas. Oh and the heat sucks.

I'm quite fond of Texas, as I am from there.

One of the people on my floor is from Oklahoma. She says it's the most drab and depressing state she's ever lived in.

And the highways aren't as well-developed there as they are here in Texas.

Texas. Only state where it is understood that it's flag flys as high as the United States flag. All other states flags must be slightly shorter than the american flag. Bow down.

well crap folks. Nothing against the other states. Only reason I made this was because OU and UT are big rivals in sports.

I've never been to any of those... So it's hard to judge... All I know, is that I've heard bad things about texas... Firstly, they are very conservative, secondly, it's the home of the bushes.

Neither, I love California. 8)

If I had to choose though, I'll go with Texas as a place to visit. As far as sports go, I'd rather root for Oklahoma since I despise all of Texas' teams.

I, for one, wouldn't consider being conservative to be a "bad thing", much as being liberal isn't a bad thing. Also of note, Texas has the biggest and most advanced medical center in the world (Texas Medical Center in Houston), as well as the second-best state university system (after California), and most cutting-edge nanotechnology firms are based in Houston and Austin.

Texas is a pretty damn awesome place :)

Well, as I explained I do not know much about Texas in general... I'm not American myself, so naturally I am quite opposed to American conservatism. I do not believe in the good old American values, simply because I was not raised with them (I'm raised in a socialist family :P). But you're right that conservatism isn't neccesserily a bad thing, it's just that it's the only thing I know about Texas, and conservatism does not fit with my ideologies. But now I've been reseachin', and I've found out that Oklahoma is crazily conservative, so I guess that makes Texas the winner. I guess it's quite cool they're that developed technologically too. :P

I live in Texas and I doubt Oklahoma is anywhere close to as good. The people are nice, medical care is one of the best in the nation, jobs are easy to find, foods great, and housing is so cheap (my 3100sq ft 6 bedroom house with a nationally ranked school next door thats located in money magazines top 15 best city to live in was $110,000)

I just moved from Austin to Lubbock...They don't even sell alcohol inside city limits.. It's like a different country here..

Ouch that sucks, I would never even consider living anywhere else in Texas other then Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, or Austin
