:lol: The answer is yes, and they take up the entire sidewalk. Just to clarify, though, I don't see a huge fat population anywhere. Most of my family members, neighbors, friends, and classmates are of average weight.

You don't go to Wal-Mart very often do you? Set aside a day some time this week (preferably on the weekend. Saturday or Friday at about 5PM would be best) to go around all the big chains with "mart" in the name, and drop by a few McDonalds while you're out, then try and tell me you don't see that many fat people.

They also gotta get rid of the food in the US that they call Chinese and Italian. The way it is in America isn't even the way it really is!

I'm in the U.S. but with 100% Italian decent and I know how to make it the right way. Like, the pizza in Italy. You suppossed t eat it with a fork and knife. (Unless take out).

Also, they butchered Christopher Columbus' name.

And for the record I ain't fat. I work out every day. Also, I do my owntraining routines and do swimmings.

Everyone, even the US, agrees that the US is the fattest country in the world. :| 

  I'm an American and most people I encounter are no more than 15-20 pounds over weight if they are over weight. I've seen a lot of people and an obese person is rare. It's just TV. Out of 200-300 people they find some 20-30 fat people and present those people as if they represent the enire united states. I don't know exact numbers it's just a guesstimated ratio to example the exaggeration.

  Whereever you have food there will be some grossly overweight people. And people seem to believe a few hundred or a thousand people is 90% of the country's inhabitants. It's actually more like less than 1%.

But I've heard that American children are some of the most fattest people in the world.

But what about that IMMENSE kid in Britian that ate every 20 minutes! They threatened to take him away from his family or sumthin.

U.S.-My dad was in the military and we moved around the country a lot and I have seen a looooooot of fat people. So I would have to say that the south is not only the fattest part of the country but, the most disgusting over all. So when I call myself an American I will always exclude the south from America.

I don't want anyone getting mad so I will say this there are some skinny people in the south If you are one of them. 

do u know why they are getting fatter? its b/c American fast food corporations have gone over seas and have infected the European public with our disease (obesity). France is a perfect example! they have been known to be relatively lean but ever since fastfood has been introduced in France, the population has been getting fatter. Not goodMichaeltheCM

It really depends on where you live.  Some places are fatter than other places (like Texas is the fattest state).
