Newer users looked down upon?

I've been wondering if users with higher posts/levels ever look down upon users with lower levels/posts. I'd like to here some opinions from veteran users especially... Personally I don't care about levels and post count. I don't judge users on that. (I'm actually a newbie myself.) But has anyone else noticed?

Generally, I don't mind new posters. But I do mind them in System Wars....mainly because the low-levels posters are the ones posting flame-bait threads, rehashing old, tired arguments.

IMO, there should be a minimum level you need to be before being allowed to post in SW.

Generally, I don't mind new posters. But I do mind them in System Wars....mainly because the low-levels posters are the ones posting flame-bait threads, rehashing old, tired arguments.

Do new users still go through hazings and initiation? When I first joined, I was spanked with cricket bats and left naked in the woods, blindfolded and tied to a tree. Ahhh... good times... good times.

Most new users have a lot less quality posts and don't add much to the discussion. That said, I know there are a lot of newer users that have much better and more quality posts than me, so it depends on the user.II-FBIsniper-II

I sometimes do as i don't know them and they're personality. Sort of like how you're not a good friend of someone if you've only just met them or only talk to them once a year. Levels don't matter but a good amount of quality posts and maybe a good blog are needed for me to respect a user.markop2003
