What are your Top 3 movies that disturbed you the most?

Doesnt have to be the most gory or the most violence... just the ones that really had an effect on you and was kinda hard to stomach.

Well for me when i was younger it was "Stephen Kings - IT"

But now a days i think my list might be a little differnt....

The other night i saw this movie called "The Girl Next Door" (no not the one with that super sexy girl hehe).

It was really disturbing to be because the poor girl gets tortured by her aunt and has the kids watch or have them do part of the torture. Also when the mom was beating the younger girl who cant walk, that really was sad to. I found out that its very hard for me to handle someone being raped, tortured or abused. It was also frightening that the Aunt made the younger kids take part in it later on.... very disturbing to me:?

For me its up there with Takashi Miikes "Audition" as the most frightening movies for me (Audition is every guys worst nightmare when it comes to a blind date, and the ending it super intense and hard to watch).

So for me, overall i think here are my top 3 movies that where the most disturbing over the years.

1. Audition (the last 5mins are very very intense

2. The Girl Next Door (once again i never thought this movie would be as disturbing as it was.. not alot of violence or gore but very unsettling and just overall disturbing to me personally... the rape and torture of that poor girl :().

3. Stephen Kings "IT" - I dont find it that disturbing anymore, but when i was really young this movie freaked me out, the damn clown i tell ya! hehe

Other Notables = Hostel 2 (first hostel had guys getting tortured but the 2nd one, while not a great movie, was disturbing to me because once again females where being killed and tortured and for some reason thats harder for me to watch then men being tortured in the first hostel movie) Ichi The Killer (Lots of violence but not as disturbing because it doesnt take itself seriously) , The 3 Extremes (this is 3 differnt directors doing a sort of masters of horror type movie, really underrated and a great horror movie imo), also IMPRINT (which was Takashi Miike's episode of Masters Of Horror, which was banned on US television).

Please post the movies that frightened your the most or was the most disturbing to ya!

I just saw Pet Semetary last week with a few friends....i still have trouble sleeping. For those who have seen it, the "daddy no fair" scene of the the movie is one of the saddest and most disturbing things i have ever seen.

Scorseses The King of Comedy unsettled me more than any move I have ever seen.

It all revolves around this guy who thinks he could be the king of comedy if he just gets that one shot. The problem is he isn't all there mentally and he ends up stalking and kidnapping a comedy all in hopes to get his big shot.

I guess it is partly because I want to go into film which means I could end up having to deal with someone like that one day, but the man really creeps me out.

The Clockwork Orange is also pretty distrubing thanks to the first half-hour.

I will say though, the GAME Silent Hill 2 is far more disturbing than any movie I ave watched. I actually had to force myself to stop playing it at one point because I felt it was effecting my mind.....

I don't think I've seen a movie that made it hard for me to watch. I can aknowledge that they're pretty gross, but not to the point where I'm tempted to cover my eyes or turn my head.

Most violent films ever made. See clips from youtube.

No, just no. Don't perpetuate that myth. The guinea pig movies are just fake and boring make believe stuff movies. The effects are quite pathetic by today's standards. I bought the whole dvd box set because of all the hype i had heard about these movies over the years...but i threw them in the garbage after the first viewings. I fast forward through most of them because they were so dull.
