I might have a list to the full cast of the movie. i just need it to be confirm. so far. so far, other the people playing baraka,briggs and blade, ian anthony dale is playing scorpion. mat mullins as cage. most of the cast actual martial artists.

Yes. Hopefully WB will tell them to add more supernatural and outerworld stuff in it. Mortal Kombat main theme wouldn't hurt either. Oh and Shao Kahn as a character is BS so lets keep him out of the movie if we are going strictly reeboot at this point.

I hated him in Annihilation and even as a boss in the games he pissed me off.
EDIT: I'd rather they include Shinoq (sp?) from MK4. Also if this thing is OK'd who else agrees that Stryker should be in as well as Kabal?

Well I'm curious about Sub-Zero's powers. I don't see how they could substitute his signature freeze ability unless he has a cup of water and a fire extinguisher.
That looked incredibly silly, you can't do scorpions "get over here" without looking over the top and silly. Jesus the stuff people are trying to make realistic these days.
They butchered the story, it sounds really corny(cornier I guess). But, I liked the directing style and atmosphere. Keep the director, hire new writers.

My guess is he will fight in a way that utilizes cold temperatures or with a weapon that would utilize cold. He won't actually throw balls of freezing ice at people and freeze them solid.
Instead if baraka having been a plastic surgeon he could of just been some slum psycho with a messed up face. Scared, burnt, ect.
It's kind of lame they're taking the alternate dimension story out. I thought that was the coolest part of the story, wait that was the story. An alternate dimension with extremely powerful bad assed warriors in it with a demented Sorcerer pitting them against feeble humans. Now they're just crazies with bad skin.. A weirdo that hangs out in your 711 beer freezer.. A blind man with a lasso and a bad attitude. Sonya Blade wasn't even right, bad casting..

Yeah. On that and on Watchmen's failure.
Watchmen had a living god in it :|.. And Batman is not a good comparison, Batman was always a realistic series with a supernatural twang to it but it was by no means the main thing..
The Mortal Kombat series on the other hand was always supernatural in every character.. This would be akin to making Superman a regular human being who dresses up and uses gadgets to fight crime due to the fact he has no super powers.. It doesn't work.
