It almost looks like those buses are designed to be bouncy like that. I wonder if they're even glass in the front, maybe some sort of plastic? I mean you have to figure these companies (bus builders and the driving companies) would want to do everything to minimize the likelihood of someone getting pancaked by a multi-ton vehicle.

He's probably fine but I'd be willing to bet that he was in a state of shock which is why he nonchalantly got up and continued into the pub in a leisurely pace.

The windshield cracked, the impact was huge.

The one thing that I'm really amazed by is that he missed the pole as he was sliding. That could have really messed him up right there! A guardian angel was most certainly watching over him that day.
