Is there any particular reason people Troll?

It's one of the reasons I quit WoW. It's seen constantly in online forums like this one. And I've just about had enough. What do people hope to achieve by trolling?

Reason why people troll in WoW?

Racial Traits.

Berserking - instant - 3 minutes cooldown Activate to increase attack and casting speed by 20% for 10 seconds.

Regeneration - passive Increase health regeneration bonus by 10%. Also allows 10% of normal health regenerate during combat.

Beast Slaying - passive 5% damage bonus to Beasts.

Throwing Specialization - passive Increase Throwing Weapon crit chance by 1%.

Bow Specialization - passive Increase Bow crit chance by 1%.

Da Voodoo Shuffle - passive Reduces the duration of all movement impairing effects by 15%. Trolls be flippin' out mon!

They know they'd get their asses beat in real life, so the feel safe doing it over the internet.

It's quite impressive how trolling has become such an art on this forum that it's possible to do it in such clever indirect ways to avoid getting modded.

I hate it myself. Not fun nor entertaining to purposely annoy people.
