Is SpongeBob the only show that has gotten better over it's entiriety?

The first 2 seasons were great, but 3, 4, 5 are hilarious, I haven't seen the last few but does anyone else agree?

I liked Spongebob when I was a kid. Some of the episodes still make me laugh

spongebob has gotten much worse over its entirety. Season one was good, season two was gold, season three was great but it all just sucked after that.

The new ones are great. Even more impressive when you consider they can still think of great stuff after all these years.

SpongeBob...I hate that show...it's been murdered by the general public. I'm sick of it being on tv all the time. Thankfully I rarely watch tv anymore.

In my honest opinion, it's gotten worse with age. It's nowhere near as good as the first seasons were.

it really depends on the humor you like. The newer episodes have vastly changed the characters, their attitudes, their manerisms and their approach to things. I absolutely hate what spongebob is now. Of course, if you like the humor it has shifted too, itd make sense that you'd like it. And in a way, i am jealous of you because they rerun the newer ones much more and all the newer ones are in the style you like (at least in the last month i've been back from college and get to watch nick).

Gotta look at things for what they are and not what they're made out to be.... If you look at Predator you can call it silly, but if you see it as entertainment you're sure to enjoy it a lot more.

I think the new style is A LOT more funnier...to be honest. The first ones are of course classics, but they just weren't that funny....

really? i dont really remember seeing that. I mean, what i thought i saw was spongebob being more obnoxiously, stereotypically gay and having some sexual innuendos, but other than that, i dont really see how it gets more mature... unless you mean its jokes were getting more for mature audiences? Like, it was becoming a little bit more like family guy?

Spongebob was always stayed abit over it's general audiences heads (toddlers and such) and alot of inside jokes... maybe I was just lucky and catched the best episodes lol.

This seriously. I feel like after the movie theyve tried to make it more and more like ren and stimpy but it just feels like a bad rip off and doesnt have the charm that it used to

Spongebob is great. I think it is more consistent than haven gotten better over it's entirety.

Some of the new episodes today either are good or bad. I will always love the movie, though.

It went downhill a bit after the film,but it's still kind of funny. Here's hoping for an episode as awesome as Band Geeks.

I've seen the occasional newer episode which I thought was funny, but by and large it's been dreadful since the film. It has definitely worsened over time.

You can easily tell the newer episodes from the earlier ones, the newer episodes just completely lack humor and soul, it's like they're trying too hard, Spongebob sucks now.

Seasons 1 to 3 are gold. The show has become like Family Guy. They're just throwing episodes out without really thinking them through.

I think scooby doo is great too. It is not always better than before, but, I still enjoy wathicng it.magicalclick

Scooby Doo is so repetive. The only one I can remember being differentt is the one when Shaggy and Scooby were living in their rich Uncle's home fighting some evil mad guy. Forgot what it was called.

To the original question, I haven't seen spongebob in a long time because they took Nickelodeon from me. :(

I haven't watched Nick for about 2 years now. But I do enjoy the show on occasion. Even today. Brings back great memories from when I was younger and really enjoyed it.

Spongebob hasn't really improved.
