Only from an athletic perspective...

I would have played soccer instead of football. I grew up in TX though where football is religion.

I would have started boxing at an earlier age like around 13 or 14.

That's all. I don't regret any of what I have done even in sports. I loved playing football, but in hindsight my athleticism would have been much better for soccer than football plus I am 5' 8" & 140lbs.

I wouldn't change anything for two reasons. The first is I'm incredibly happy where I am now and if I changed anything I wouldn't be where I am today. Secondly I wouldn't because I'd lose the lessons I learned from mistakes I've made.

I might have started out with the major I ended up studying, instead of studying something I knew I had difficulty with. On the other hand, I've been told I'm "too young to look back."

Fantasy721
Probably not. See...the thing with me (and I suspect many other people) is that to a large extent I know what's right and then I don't do it. Why? I don't know. Stupidity? Weakness? Basic nature? Who knows. And does it really matter? The point is, people do stupid ass $*** all the time, even when they know before they do it that it's stupid as hell and is going to turn out badly for them. That sums up my life, and I'm relatively well off. I know LOTS of people who suffer from the exact same kind of thing and have ended up FAR worse than me. My life is literally saturated with moments in which I knew what I was doing was bad or wrong or detrimental to me, and I still did that $*** anyway. So why would things change if I had to do it over again?

Well since I don't know whats coming I don't think I'd want to change anything. Might be bad, might be good. But i'd rather roll the dice and see than live a life without the learning curve.

sort of need to have made the mistakes and failures in order to learn anything of value. so unless i got to keep what i know now. no.

if i could do it all over again, i'd of taken time off from college and worked as a maintenance guy or some engineering technicians, i'd of taken the foundry job and did my master's part time.

I'd of ended my first girlfriend relationship a whole lot sooner. would never of dated the Afghan-American girl, nor the Saudi-Mexic girl (both of which looking back were destined to crash and burn no matter what i could of done), and i'd of broken up the American girlfriend in much more respectable decent way rather then the childish immature way i did it.

i'd of focused more in the early parts in college.

Also not let myself go and go from 170 to 280 lbs. i'm at 207, still wanna get down further, but damn did i let myself go...

I like my life the way it is, and all the positives and negatives got me into my current situation, which I said I like. So I wouldn't change anything.

I've made some tough choices in my life that I tend to dwell on. In fact there are quite a few things that I wish I had done different, but some of my choices I made needed to be done. I guess one thing I learned, taking the hard will always be the hard way and to me this really develops your character and the type of person you are. There have been choices in my life I could have done the easy way, and sometimes you wonder if you made the right choice and if my life would be better this way? But in the end I try to keep myself level headed. It's human nature to dwell on your past, but I think I did the things I had to do to be where I want to be.

Probably not. Assuming I would have no knowledge of my previous attempt, I would probably just make all the same wrong decisions anyway. Possibly even worse.

I would totally do life over again if I could. If I started over knowing then what I know now, my life would probably have turned out totally different. I probably would have a lot more confidence than I do now, as well as a better social life.
