If money wasn't an issue, what kind of place would you live in?

I would live by myself (for now, at least) so I really wouldn't care to have a big house. I would probably just move into a nice small apartment.

I would need: a kitchen, a bathroom, a living room, and maybe a bedroom (currently, I just sleep in the living room)

I really wouldn't have any use for more room, so I don't see why I would want a bigger house. I would use my money to buy fancy electronics and stuff, but not extra room I don't need.

On the other hand, if I lived with multiple people I would want a GIANT house so I don't have to always be around them.

Not in America, that's for sure.

I think I'd like to live somewhere on a nice beach.

I forgot to say where I would live, probably because I would stay where I am: southwestern Ohio.

A smaller house. Somewhere sparcely populated but not too far from stores and the like.

A decent sized, suburban family home. I want a house with big windows, a beautiful kitchen and a few walk-in closets. I want an open layout, so the kitchen and dining room and living room all sort of connect, and I'd like the upstairs to have a master bedroom kind of off on its' own, like a little suite, maybe over the garage or something. I'd also totally love a guest house, and depending what kind it was and if there was a good amount of space inside for a guest room, I might just turn it into a media room/crash pad for my kids and their friends.XilePrincess

I'd find some property on a lake or river or something, but still fairly close to a big city that either has no house built or something that needs fixing so I could just demolish it and start from scratch. Then I would design every room in the house exactly the way I want it.

I guess that would include all of the rooms being pretty open. None of this "wall in the middle of the room" thing. I loooove big windows too, I don't really like using electric lights (especially during the day. My mom likes doing this for some reason) so there would need to be lots of natural light.

I'd build one big mish-mash of a house with some rooms based off of things I like but with an overall gothic/victorian/english cottage feel.

I was paranoid in those neighborhoods. I was always looking over my shoulder. However, you're right. In these neighborhoods, if you don't go looking for trouble and keep track of your surroundings, you tend to be safe.

That sounds boring. Discrimination breeds conflict, conflict breeds violence, and violence breeds war. I like war. :)

Always wanted to have my own estate. Doesn't really matter where it would be just that I would have lots of land (10 acres possibly) with multiple houses on the estate rather than one huge house. Enough places to sleep that if I ever needed to shelter family or friends for an extended period of time I could without having them interfere with my daily living. It would also be nice to have a bunch of athletic courts, and pass time activities on my estate. Basically a place where I'd only have to leave to buy groceries or shop. I'm very much about my privacy.

I'd probably go with a quaint log house built on the edge of a small lake that hasn't been fished out. It'd be about a 15 minute drive into the small town where I'd work in the local accounting firm. It would likely be in Central Ontario, as I'd like to move a small ways away from my hometown, but not a significant amount.

I would find a nice house (nothing ridiculous) on top of like a hill or a mountain that over looks the ocean.

Something peaceful.

A vineyard in Greece.
