thats the problem with asking for music advice from metal fans on the internet.

If a song has any sort of harmonies, rhythm, or chorus, they instantly hate it. The only good metal is an orgy of people unintelligently smashing instruments and growling indecipherable words...

I think its almost like a penis measuring contest where somehow you get credibility for liking the crappiest band that sounds the least like music.... some sort of weird counter culture thing like high school goths.
