You guys are full of sh*t.  I bet you spend an hour on the elliptical and call it good.

I don't waste money on gym memberships.  I run, backpack, mountainbike, swim, and jerk off 5 times a week.  Only excersise you need.

Do you ever see a lion go to the gym and lift weights or run on a tread mill? No. He sits around on his ass all day long and has sex with female lions. If he doesn't work out, neither will I.

I don't keep a daily work out Calender (Although i'm think I should) but I usually jog at least 3 miles a day, do Push Ups, Lift Barbells, and just recently I started swimming at the Y.

I only recently started working out so I'm currently supposed to follow a three day full body routine; monday, wednesday, friday. Rest of the days I should warm up and do a whole buncha stretching and wrist curls & crunches.

TC doesn't do shoulders...

I don't have a set schedule, but I try to get in four times a week. I used to be pretty fickle about getting into the gym that often, but living in the dorms and having our really nice campus gym a minute walk away helped.

Chest/triceps, back/biceps, shoulders, legs

I work in a warehouse. When I was in high school I lifted weights every single day between track practice, football practice, and weightlifting class. Now I don't need to.

I focus mainly on strength building, so i do a 5x5 thingy first in the week. Split between two days I'll do deadlifts and front squats one day, and the other i'll do chinups or bent-over rows, and dips. Then if i have energy for a third day of the week i'll do some sarcoplasmic junk, shoulders and chest.

I'm a pretty casual worker outer. 3 or 4 times a week I spend an hour working out at home. I mix up push ups, crunches, free weights, and shadow boxing with weighted gloves. I also try to go for either a 5 km run or a long mountain bike ride once a week.

Work has become my workout also. I used to lift before by current job but that job beats me down every shift. 5-8 hours per shift of running all over the store, climbing up and down ladders, moving around exercise equipment, etc. with one shift a week of working the truck unloading is all the workout I can deal with right now. lol

I don't have a set body part for the week, I usually just go in and workout whatever part of my body doesn't feel like sh*t :P. I usually go chest and shoulders monday, back and biceps/triceps wednesday, and all out legs friday. Been doing more leg workouts lately though, I gotta get my vertical up for basketball.

As long as you were actually using it and not just standing there, an hour on one would still be a crazy cardio workout. Not everyone works out to get buff.

Still, an hour on it would be a decent workout. Just going for long walks is a good cardio workout. One doesn't need to go dudebro xtreme to workout.

We get at least three trucks a week, each 30+ pallets. I always work the trucks and I spend all the rest of my time pulling web orders (I usually pull roughly 100 web orders in an 8 hour shift).

I think I'm starting to experience some sort of degenerative wear in my lower back. My brother just went through it; it's hereditary. I used to deadlift and overhead press on Mondays and squat and do dips on Thursdays as heavy as I could. Now I'm in some sort of disrepair. I'm just teaching myself how to front squat because I can't deadlift or back squat any more. Maybe I just need to give it a rest. I'd love to deadlift 405 once more. I never knew what I had at the time. It makes me sad. :( In case you guys were interested.

full body weight session once a week with some old equipment i got cheap at a yard sale, more like circuit training, and then just running, pushups, sit ups, basketball, soccer the rest of the week, usually with 2 days that i don't workout. If you eat healthy and just run, do pushups, sit ups or other body weight exercises, your going to be in good shape. No need to go to a gym unless you want to look jacked, in which case be ready to dedicate a good sum of cash on gym membership, extra food, protein, supplemenets etc.

Well, from experience, bulking up is fun anyway just to say that you tried it once! And my back has been an issue for about three months now. I think I just need to change my approach to avoid stressing it too much.

During school time: Monday: 15 min treadmill, Chest, Shoulders+Trapezius Tuesday: Rest Wednesday: 15 min treadmill, Back, Biceps Thursday: Rest Friday: 20 min jog, Legs, Abs Sat: Rest or light jog Sun Rest When I workout during semesters, I like to keep my workouts as short as possible, without compromising the intensity or weights. But here's what I do if I have a lot of free time: During summer (usually no school), usually outdoors and weights at home. Monday: 20 minute jog, Chest Tuesday: 20 minute jog, Back Wednesday: Rest, light abs Thursday: Uphill sprints for 20-30 minutes, Shoulders Friday: Light jog 15 minutes, Legs

Oh, and as for diet, I don't go too crazy with that. I drink mostly water, with the exception of milk when I eat cereal, and maybe coffee 3 times a week. I eat plenty of fruit and veggies. I don't drink alcohol too often, nor do I eat junk food.

Lately my workouts have looked like this. Monday - shoulder / triceps, Tuesday - Back, Wed - Rest Day, Thursday - Chest / biceps, Friday - Legs, Sat and Sunday Rest days. Try to hit every muscle group twice a week. Also mix in cardio for 5 mins to warm up before workout and 20-30 mins after work out. Have been skipping the cardio this week so definitely have to get back on it. Usually just walk the dogs or bike ride on rest days as well for some cardio.

I usually do 100 jumping jacks a day to get my heart rate going, trying to ease into squats. I also referee a few games of soccer a weekend and play six-a-side soccer on Thursday nights.

I mix it up. I'm a full time student at ASU and I work full time. Everyday I run for about 20 minutes, then do an hour of whatever I feel like. Usually legs or back, considering I have a bench press at home and do whenever I feel like it

do bout 150 pull ups and push ups per day, altering between grips, and 4-6 min of plank excercise. that's it. any cardio i get is from walking or the ocasional run. i'm happy with the way my body is just by doin this, so i don't think i'll ever take up any more exercises like lifting and such.
