I have never been more stressed in my life. I mean my job has gotten to a level where i'm actually thinking of talking to a Psychiatrist. I can't sleep, rest my mind, work is just so overwhelming. I get so many tasks and somehow i finish everything, but my boss just thinks i can do more.

How do you guys deal with it, if you have stress ?

If you're close to overload, say something to the boss.

Rocking the house with the wife works well to relieve any stress I have.

Sex really helps a lot. Also playing littlebigplanet and listening to standup or toxic overwatch videos on YouTube to make me laugh til my sides hurt.

Speak to your boss! Definitely. And if they aren't helpful then it'd be a sign to me that it's time to move on.

Generally to avoid getting stressed I stop doing the thing that's making me stressed.

Start with a conversation with your boss, work should never affect your physical or mental health and once it does it's not worth having. Discuss your issues, set expectations that are realistic for your time and ability. For me, I make sure there is a hard cutoff from work at the end of my day, I play games with friends, workout, cook, take baths, read, anything I can to calm my mind.

Just finished Fallout 4. Think it is time for a re-run of GTA V.

My whole department is about to have this conversation with my boss and if necessary, people further up. We more or less have mandatory overtime these days.

Playing violent video games, playing/stroking my cat, watching funny videos on youtube, beating the shit out of a heavy bag. Listening to some good metal, taking a nap and having a hot shower.

Tc don't overwork take a break once in a while and tell your boss to ease the load.

Well, I don't have a "job", I have a hobby from which I make a living that I enjoy every minute of it.

I just kind of try to accept the fact that most things in life are far out of my control. I just keep going through my daily grind and hoping that, at some point, I will meet someone who changes everything.

I listen to music. I find that listening to something oppressive allows me to experience a catharsis of sorts.

This morning which I regret totally doing. I got a pen and smashed nearest dvd which was on my bed and started hammering at it with a pen. It broke in half and another piece went flying. The DVD could have easily sliced my wrist open the way it cut in half. What made it worse was it was Star trek Voyager elite force. Still probably not learnt as I will smash something else later. A couple of week ago I smashed my £115 xbox one elite controller so I probably wont learn. It feels good at the time then you think What a TOSSER.

I've found these days I only do stuff like that when I'm tired as I've only had about 15 hour sleep in last 3 days which makes me stressed out. When I broke my Xbox One controller I was only watching Netflix. DOH.

Oh and gambling in the bookies (SHOPS) not online. This doesn't effect stress worse it actually helps it even when I loose. Its my go to place when I do feel stressed. Just spent 3 hours this afternoon on FOBT machines with my dad and a plus I came out £120 up. Its not the winning or loosing what helps its something different and for 3 hours your some where else. As they say in the UK these machines are the cocaine of gambling machines but there awesome for stress relief even when loosing. For me anyway.

Gaming, watching funny videos, listening to music in the morning, watching movies, writing, and reading can all be very destressing.

When my family is all asleep... I usually put on a movie on the projector, throw on a pair of headphones and drink several glasses of scotch preferably Lagavulin. Its a prescription not a one time fix.
