Have any of your relatives fought in Wars?

My dad Served with the Navy in Afganistan. My Grandfather served with the Airforce in the Korean War, and my Great Grandfather fought for Czechslovakia in WWI before my family immigrated to America

Im also planning on joining the Military when I turn 18

I'm not positive, but I think I had relatives in the military for both WWI and WWII. My dad was in the Air Force during Vietnam, and one of my uncles was in the Army during Vietnam.

my American grandfather fought in the Korean war.

my great grandparents from my Saudi side, fought, aided, and helped funded the Saud family when they were conquering their part out of Arabia.

I have two cousins (Saudi side) that are serving for the Saudi armed forces, one in the coast guard, the other in the navy (actually manning one of the countries frigates).

My dad was in the army but not while a war was going on.

Both of my grandfathers, one was Navy one was Army. My uncle was a Marine in Desert Storm, my cousin was Army and served in Iraq and now Afghanistan and myself.

Yup, I had a relative who fought in World War I and wrote a book on his experience. I forgot the title, though...I'd have to go look for the copy I have.

Grandfather in Korean...Other Grandfather i forgot which :x..and Great Uncle died in WWII i believe..i don't know of any others..

My brother went to the army a few weeks after 911 and served and was part of the Iraqi freedom.

Sure they have. The Civil War, Korean War, World War I and World War II.

my mother's father was a SeaBee (Naval ironworker) in the South Pacific during WWII. My father's father was a MP during WWII that is where he met my Japanese grandmother.

My grandfather is Austrian, he repaired Nazi planes and now his hearing is not very good. He's the smartest man I know.

Woof, I haven't had good experiences with FOBs.

My grandfather was in WWII, two of my uncles were in Vietnam, and I have a cousin in Iraq right now. I also have another cousin who trains fighter pilots.

My great uncle was a top turret gunner and mechanic on a B-17. His plane was shot down in the first daylight bombing raid over Berlin. This was at a time when the bombers flew part of the mission without any fighter escort. He managed to bail out and spent several years in a German POW camp.

World War 2 is the only one I know of

I don't know what my great grandfathers did, they were some form of infantry I know that much.My grandfather was a tank commander and my father was a crew chief as well as 60 door gunner on huey slicks. He was in the Aeroscouts. Many of the pilots in that unit were Special Forces. Most of their missions were either inserting and extracting LRRPs & rangers for recon and salvage operations. Ocassionally special Ops as well.If they weren't doing that they just went on their daily harrassment routine. Which meant fly around until they take fire so they could return fire.
