I agree with you, but I don't think it's for everyone, me and my ego would never allow me to be one of those women that did a video like that no matter how much money was offered, it would just turn into self loathing and that would ruin my enjoyment of the money. She has some strength going.

That's fine as long as you don't impose this against her. no everyone wants to make sex tapes.... but for those that do why should it be looked down upon? Its just another archaic religious throwback against expression of sexuality. My one big complaint against anti-sexualization feminism....... the hypocrisy that "Brains, personality ect" should be valued above sexuality/physical attraction .... for what reason? all of these traits differ person to person. I find the whole "She should not be praised and adored by men for her beauty because she is not smart, I should be valued more because I'm smart" both of which are genetic outcomes largely....a man should not be FORCED by these ideals into thinking one is more important than the other.

Really? Only a horny man would say something like that. The while problem with women's sexual liberation movement is that it has objectified women even further then it did before. A lot of young girls equate sex= independent and free. When all it has done is make women look even dumber and Slutty. How about encouraging young women to go into make dominated fields like engineering or technology. Instead of encouraging them screw every dude out there because it shows they are "free". Sure women can have engineering degrees too no problem but that doesn't take away the fact that she's a strong self-reliant and intelligent woman and any woman be it an engineer or anything could take her as an example. Also why do people always insist on engineer and technology positions? what's wrong with other types of jobs? The current economical and political system is also patriarchal in nature a true feminist revolution will not only allow women better positions but also allow other jobs like in the humanities and in the arts more protagonism. That a woman (or a man for that matters) needs to become an engineer to be taken into account and her job regarded as "important" is a pretty male-role-driven mentality too. That's why a bunch of women instead of being women think that the feminist movement consists in becoming like men when in fact it should be the acceptance of the female side of everyone and everything. Women and men are different but that doesn't mean one is better than the other. Their roles and nature is complementary and equal in importance.

Most of that is just talking about her character, as opposed to anything she actually did. Great, there are people of high character in every profession. So what? As far as what she actually did, all I'm seeing here is "worked in porn for a little while, and then got out of porn." While there's not necessarily anything wrong with that, it's pretty silly to act as if that's some great benefit to feminism.

Her performance shows 0 inhibition, she showed that she likes sex A LOT without any taboos, she always earned more money than most men working there. After those 2 years she took up other projects. She has always shown that she can get what she wants without relying on a man. She is confident and knows what she wants. She is almost a role model. Sure women can have engineering degrees too no problem but that doesn't take away the fact that she's a strong self-reliant and intelligent woman and any woman be it an engineer or anything could take her as an example. Also why do people always insist on engineer and technology positions? what's wrong with other types of jobs? The current economical and political system is also patriarchal in nature a true feminist revolution will not only allow women better positions but also allow other jobs like in the humanities and in the arts more protagonism. That a woman (or a man for that matters) needs to become an engineer to be taken into account and her job regarded as "important" is a pretty male-role-driven mentality too. That's why a bunch of women instead of being women think that the feminist movement consists in becoming like men when in fact it should be the acceptance of the female side of everyone and everything. Women and men are different but that doesn't mean one is better than the other. Their roles and nature is complementary and equal in importance.

Most of that is just talking about her character, as opposed to anything she actually did. Great, there are people of high character in every profession. So what? As far as what she actually did, all I'm seeing here is "worked in porn for a little while, and then got out of porn." While there's not necessarily anything wrong with that, it's pretty silly to act as if that's some great benefit to feminism.

Women are not supposed to like porn but she likes porn, women are supposed to be submissive but she isn't submissive, women are supposed to be inhibited but she isn't, women are supposed to depend on man or earn less than them but she doesn't, women are supposed to rely on what society tells them to do but she does stuff for herself without the need for aproval of prescribed roles, women who are smart are not supposed to be naked in front of everyone having sex but she does that and she's smart. Things like that...

Umm...what? Dude, except for the whole "being in porn" thing, I could say every single one of those things about a $***load of women. All you're really saying is that she's a strong woman with a good attitude, and that applies to a $***load of women. How does that do more for feminism than everything else in the last 30 years?
