I reckon it's absolutely, 100% real. There's just so much proof. Unless God put them there to trick us.

Now, where are my Flame-proof clohtes?

I think it has a lot of possibility to be true but I don't believe Darwin came up with it. It's not that f**king far-etched an idea... so stop giving that bozo all the credit.Kev_Boy

No one's giving him all the credit. If you even studied Biology, you would know that he proposed the idea, only a hypothesis then, but current research has solidified it as a scientific theory.
This "Darwinism" you're thinking of and that Creationists refer to is not the same thing as The Theory of Evolution.

It's the same as the theory of gravity, there's been extensive research on it, but it's not called Newtonism, even though Newton was the first to consider it.

The world needs a better education system...

I think it's funny how we've found skeletons of creatures that look just like those in Darwinism, yet people still refuse to believe it's real. haha. Typical gullible religious freaks.musicXpirate

Personally, I think that if a caterpillar can turn into a butterfly, then there's no reason not to accept evolution even if you don't really know exactly how it works (though it's always a fun read until you reach the parts you can't understand because you didn't take biology or chemistry or physics in university).

Obviously. But if you see things change, why can't you accept the possibility that other things change? Heck, you try to claim that DNA, the exact thing that changes between every generation, is what keeps things in line. That's like saying that an amoeba has a definite shape.

But the DNA changes, so the information of what 'themselves' is changes. It's not like there's a piece of code (at least that I've heard of) that always stays the same and goes 'hey, you'z leg-length genes, you're getting a bit too tall for comfort, if you break the law of Kinds you'll have to pay a fine... IN HELL!'.

The only way to disagree with it is to disagree with observable fact and demonstrable evidence.

Evolution = variation over time. That much is fact and should be accepted by everyone... regardless of faith.

You can't really deny evolution. As theoretical it may be the past 100 years have been proof of evolution. You can deny yourself to see evolution in a natural state but the fact is there is so much damn proof for its existnce you would be denying life itself.

Of course, the evidence is overwhelming. I suggest any of those who don't believe in it read a biology book. I don't mean that to be taken as being mean, I mean it'll improve your knowledge of your subject.

I don't see how so many think it's true anymore. More and more scientists (unreligious scientists btw) are believing it to be false due to some of it's major flaws (read Darwin's Black Box for example). It's just a way of helping the athiest be intellectually fulfilled. Dispite it's many flaws, many still believe in it because they do not like the alternatives. I used to believe evolution to be true until I realized how many problems it has.

Darwin might have been incorrect on how long it takes. But you're treating it like it's some kind of religion.

Evolution has nothing to do with religion.

Evolution is how we explain how the different species on the planet exist. There are dominant and recessive genes that when coupled with other genes produce mutations that creates a new appearance/body/sensory organs/etc. for the off spring.

The offspring may see an advantage or disadvantage from their new appearance and that could result in the creation of a "new species."

Evolution doesn't explain why changes take place which is where your religion comes in. You may believe there is a purpose to the changes or that it's completely random. That doesn't change the fact that "new species" are born on a daily basis as a result of evolution.

Exactly what flaws would you be refering to?

No matter how many times I have asked that question, I have never gotten an answer. Darwin's black box has been completely rejected by the scientific community though.

Reality is that evolution does have evidence and creation has none.

and any rational person will believe that evidence is better than no evidence.

Hence Evolution>>creationism.

What do you guys think about Evolution today? How will we evolve? Or will we evolve ourselves via technology rather than biologically?
