When you hold a fork or spoon, do you hold it with your fingers (like you're writing with a pen or pencil), or do you hold it by closing your whole hand around it, thus making a fist? For me, I use my fingers.

I hate you. So much.
The serious responses in this thread are ****ing hilarious in the context of the thread title...
I tried that once. Thanks to my eye patch, I don't dare try it again. My fingers.I like spinning my knives like I spin with drum sticks.

Just depends on the size of the eating utensil. Sometimes I can only fit my fingers. But other times I am able to use my whole fist...just depends on what type eating utensil it is reallyrawsavonSo...You use the whole fist, like all five..bolded fist and just...complete.
[QUOTE="Dark__Link"]I hate you. So much.JustPlainLucasWhy? I honestly didn't have a clue as to what else the thread could be about besides... you know... I kinda thought it was gonna be some perverted, depraved suicide thread :P
So...You use the whole fist, like all five..bolded fist and just...complete. Especially when I am drunk and I go try to find something to...eat. Being delicate goes out the window at times like that. You just have to double up your fist and go to work. The main course is not going to eat itself after all[QUOTE="rawsavon"]Just depends on the size of the eating utensil. True,so you go all out. Some food is harder than others to...finish. Almost requires the use of a fist.
I find that to be especially true with leftovers. I don't know why, but it is always harder to finish your food the second time around

I don't think I have ever had that problem with your mom's fancy feasts.
Though I can't say the same about other people's...some people just don't know how to present a dish to the public...too much garnish
I must agree,my mother makes the greatest spaghetti,so a plate the next day is damn necessary...tasty spaghetti,sweet...but I just can't finish the job.[QUOTE="Lto_thaG"]

That's usually how I go, but sometimes I'm impatient, so I just skip going for the utensil and dig right in.Fingers all the way.

I find that liquids help make it all go down faster.

Fingers here. Gets the job done quicker.Mr_CumberdaleQuick isn't always good. Sometimes you're eating a really nice meal, so you want to slow down and savor it.
Something else.
I lol'd when I read this thread, really hard.
Anyways, for utensils, I use my fingers. I rest the handle between my thumb and middle finger.
