Do you use your fingers or fist?

When you hold a fork or spoon, do you hold it with your fingers (like you're writing with a pen or pencil), or do you hold it by closing your whole hand around it, thus making a fist? For me, I use my fingers.

Just depends on the size of the eating utensil. Sometimes I can only fit my fingers. But other times I am able to use my whole fist...just depends on what type eating utensil it is reallyrawsavon

Especially when I am drunk and I go try to find something to...eat. Being delicate goes out the window at times like that. You just have to double up your fist and go to work. The main course is not going to eat itself after all

I find that to be especially true with leftovers. I don't know why, but it is always harder to finish your food the second time around

Though I can't say the same about other people's...some people just don't know how to present a dish to the public...too much garnish

Though I can't say the same about other people's...some people just don't know how to present a dish to the public...too much garnish

I find that liquids help make it all go down faster.

Anyways, for utensils, I use my fingers. I rest the handle between my thumb and middle finger.
