just lay comfortably in your bed with no lights or sounds and think of something relaxing. Zone out, and then you'll fall asleep. After a few nights of falling asleep on time your body will get used to it.

Don't be on the computer am hour before you are planning to go to bed, then just relax in your bed, you'll fall asleep eventually. Even if it takes a long time, atleast you are resting.

Dont try to force yourself to sleep, you will only make it worse instead just stay a whole day without sleeping then go to sleep at the time you want to sleep everyday and your body will adjust.....its not easy but it has a 100% chance of success, i know because i have done it every summer :D

I listen to music while asleep. And it's not even relaxing! There are people banging guitars and screaming into my ears but i still fall asleep. Usually my MP3 player runs out of battery or turns of because I roll onto it in my sleep, but sometimes it wakes you up again and your at a random song and you think: "...huh?"

I dont think you can die from lack of sleep, i suffered from insmonia and only slept one day a week. hehe

Iwouldn't recommend listening to music that much, as when I tried that it kept ma awake all night (what, I shouldn't have put metal?)

Read a good book, works for me.

Sleep at a certain time.

Before my first day of school I woke up everyday at 12pm (I have to wake up a 5am to catch the bus to school.) So one day I stayed up all night and the next day I passed out a 9pm.

I woke up at 6. :(

There's no point forcing yourself to sleep. Relax around the house (as in, refrain from TV and the computer) for a while before hitting the sheets.

Another thing that works: it involves no drugs, medicine, music, etc. Learn to breathe. Seriously.Breathe in and out thru your nose. Hold your breath on each inhale or exhale for as long as comfortable.

You could try sleeping pills, but maybe a doctor's appointment would be a better place to start.

Heres what I do, I excerise before I sleep to make self tired. And then I fall alseep. Somethings it takes me 100 pull ups just make me sleepy.
