I find it nearly impossible to make it perfect. Thats why I hate I tunes. Maybe I just don't know how to use it good but it seems like it's just not user freindly enough. junglist101I got the hang of it in about 5 minutes...
Nope. My brother gave me about 20 GB of his music, most of which doesn't have artwork and sometimes has incorrect information. I'm just too lazy to go through and fix it all.
However, everything I've put on my PC myself is correct and organized.

So I've been told. I also know computers and computer software well. I can easily get the hang of things.[QUOTE="iloverikku11"][QUOTE="DmadFearmonger"]I got the hang of it in about 5 minutes...DmadFearmonger

It wasn't until last month, took me 12 hours to sort it all, 80gb of music is a lot to sort through bah... some stuff I just deleted lol.
Now its pristine :)
For me, the song titles, artists and albums must always be correctly spelled and in order. I don't care about the genre so much as the rest, but you do have a good point. I'll fix up the genres tonight if I can. I also put the year the album came out next to the album title in brackets.
I would get the album artwork, I just don't know how to download it onto my iPod.
I don't really care to keep it super organized. As long as I can find what I want to listen to and the artist name and song title is listed properly, I'm fine.
Also I don't use iTunes. lol.
I don't use Itunes any more, I made the switch to Media Monkey. My library of 2500 is pretty much flawless. I edited every track with the original album cover, original year of release, correct capitalization and punctuation, lyrics, genre, ratings and utilized most of the "deadbeat" ID3 tags like composer, grouping and conductor. The more information per track, the more detailed you can make your playlists.

Do you listen to everything you are told/include it in your sense of self?[QUOTE="chaoscougar1"][QUOTE="DmadFearmonger"]So I've been told. I also know computers and computer software well. If you pick and choose, then what criteria do you use?
I try to get atleast album art for everything, by apple is awful at interface and obviously its really obnoxious, for e.g I have an album with appropriate artwork for each track, but randomly the art doesn't show up on my ipod :?Overlord93After syncing new tracks to your Ipod, You have to turn the device off or do a reset, or sometimes artwork won't show up, I've noticed.
God no. I only have itunes up to start a song then I set it to shuffle, and then I minimize it so I never see it.

I listen to everything. I hear other people. I then choose to either agree or disagreeNeither have I. I only use it to play stuff and sync my iPod. Wouldn't buy anything off that store 'cause I'm a mad collector of CD's.I only download podcasts from iTunes. Havent bought one track.

Lol i'm just a cheapskate. All my music is downloaded illegally. Oddly, i'm the total opposite when it comes to movies. My nerd collector mentality surfaces and i need the disc and case.
I'm very orderly in everything actually, just not itunes as i dont use it for music.
The case of my Dream Theater- Train of Thought CD had a scratch on it. I freaked out. Are you like that with your DvD's? :P My Crack the Skye CD from Mastodon... well its unplayable after leaving it in a hot environment for too long :cry:Please Log In to post.
