Nope. My brother gave me about 20 GB of his music, most of which doesn't have artwork and sometimes has incorrect information. I'm just too lazy to go through and fix it all.

However, everything I've put on my PC myself is correct and organized.

I have 86 gigs of music. When I come to it, I rate the music I like the most.

I had to reboot my HDD so redoing it is kind of a nightmare. I hand-pick the tunes I want to rate and move on till I come to a new artist for my time period of review.

I started with good ID3 tagging habits back in the mid to late 90's and have been doing so ever since when ripping CD's to my computer. I have always liked having a bit of order so you know where stuff is at any time without guessing 2-3 times before you hit the right folder. I even go as far as year and track numbers to keep albums tracklist in order.

For me, the song titles, artists and albums must always be correctly spelled and in order. I don't care about the genre so much as the rest, but you do have a good point. I'll fix up the genres tonight if I can. I also put the year the album came out next to the album title in brackets.

I would get the album artwork, I just don't know how to download it onto my iPod.

Most of it is in order(140gb). I periodically go through the folders and correct them. Thank god for mass file editors, which, as long as the track name is correct, is easy to fix albums and artists.

I hate Itunes. Do not use it.

Bad tags drive me crazy. It bugs me when I look at someone else's iPod and see "Dr. Dre", "Dr. Dre feat. Snoop Dogg", & "Dr. Dre and Snoop Doggy Dogg" all tagged differently.

I don't really care to keep it super organized. As long as I can find what I want to listen to and the artist name and song title is listed properly, I'm fine.

Also I don't use iTunes. lol.

I don't use Itunes any more, I made the switch to Media Monkey. My library of 2500 is pretty much flawless. I edited every track with the original album cover, original year of release, correct capitalization and punctuation, lyrics, genre, ratings and utilized most of the "deadbeat" ID3 tags like composer, grouping and conductor. The more information per track, the more detailed you can make your playlists.

After syncing new tracks to your Ipod, You have to turn the device off or do a reset, or sometimes artwork won't show up, I've noticed.

This is the thing in life I am probably most clean about. Every song is has the correct title, artist, album, genre, year, and album art. I always ask people when I see their ipods without the correct spelling or no album art, why they don't have it correct. Itunes is extremely easy to clean up too.

I don't use iTunes, but all of MY music is perfect. My dad's music on the other hand is a complete mess...he gets music from burned cds and they always come with unknown artists and they are all religious songs so trying to find out who the artist is is hard.

Lol i'm just a cheapskate. All my music is downloaded illegally. Oddly, i'm the total opposite when it comes to movies. My nerd collector mentality surfaces and i need the disc and case.

I'm very orderly in everything actually, just not itunes as i dont use it for music.

The case of my Dream Theater- Train of Thought CD had a scratch on it. I freaked out. Are you like that with your DvD's? :P

My Crack the Skye CD from Mastodon... well its unplayable after leaving it in a hot environment for too long

I like to have it organized. I have all the artists right, and albums. I have all the artwork. I even went so far as to go through most of my library and put the correct writer for each song, even though i rarely listen to music based on who wrote it.
